Hai Rowland, I think you are mixing a few settings. http://www.zytrax.com/books/dns/ch7/queries.html#additional-from-auth additional-from-auth yes | no ; additional-from-cache yes | no ; And www.zytrax.com/books/dns/ch7/queries.html#auth-nxdomain auth-nxdomain yes | no; If auth-nxdomain is 'yes' allows the server to answer authoritatively (the AA bit is set) when returning

Load balancing...
Hi All, Can anyone help me hash out how best to load balance a website that is getting considerable traffic? In the past I only have experience with BigIP where you have a load balancing device that keeps track and send traffic to the best server possible at the time. This was a proprietary system that I think was something Dell rebranded. Right now, the whole site is is 400gb of video, HTML5,

RHEL3, winbind, "Error looking up domain users"
Hello, I've been attempting to get this working all day. :) I have an RHEL3 machine connected to a Windows 2000 PDC as a domain member. I'm running samba 3.0.21c, compiled from an SRPM: # rpm -q samba samba-3.0.21c-1 When I try to list my users, I get this: # wbinfo -u Error looking up domain users Exit 1 Similarly, `getent passwd` fails to show any SMB users. But `getent passwd

[LLVMdev] Rework of Vector/Scalar Classification
Here's a reworked patch to mark instructions and operands as vector or scalar. It uses TableGen to infer the flags from types, allowing the user to override with a "let isVector = 0" clause. I decided to forego classifying MachineMemOperands for now in the interests of getting this piece in. I still think we should add type information to MachineMemOperands. Why throw away

It''s dom0 that seems to be getting a random MAC and because of that Xen can''t t find the NIC and won''t load eth0 because the MAC is different than what is expected. I''ve seen others with the same problem and their

Regular expressions in R
Good afternoon list, I have the following character strings; one with spaces between the maths operators and variable names, and one without said spaces. form<-c('~ Sentence + LEGAL + Intro + Intro / Intro1 + Intro * LEGAL + benefit + benefit / benefit1 + product + action * mean + CTA + help + mean * product')

regex -> negate a word
Dear all, let's assume I have a vector of character strings: x <- c("abcdef", "defabc", "qwerty") What I would like to find is the following: all elements where the word 'abc' does not appear (i.e. 3 in this case of 'x'). Since I am not really experienced with regular expressions, I started slowly and thought I find all word were

Adding extra fields from an external source
Hi, I have an existing (Open)LDAP which I'm using with dovecot and I would like to implement quotas. I have global quotas working, but I would like per user quotas similar to what is described in the wiki (http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Quota/Configuration#LDAP) My problem is that there is no obvious attribute in the schemas shipped in the RHEL/Centos 6 to hold the quota string. Is it possible to

Determining Browser?
Is there a way I can read the user agent or something similar to determine whether the person is using IE, Mozilla/Netscape, Opera, Safari, etc? I want to dynamically output the CSS to the browser, but I''d like to change certain things (in this case the widths of some divs since IE adds borders and padding size to the total size of a div unlike firefox). Thanks, - Brent

more dot plots on 1 page
Hi, I would like to have six dot plots on one page. I make the plots in a 'for loop' because it is six times the same graph but for different subjects (species). I tried it with "par(mfrow=c(3,2), oma=c(3,3,2,0), mar=c(2,2,2,2))"; but this does not work for dot plots apparently. Then I tried with print(). But then I had to give the dot plots names. This also does not work.

simple DNS question - reverse nslookup fails.
Hello all, I am trying to configure a subdomain DNS server on a Cent OS 5.1 - for my lab. Brief configuration: Lab machine ---> 192.168.17.2 (should respond to DNS queries from hosts in 192.168.16.0/20 network) 1. I would also like to forward any queries outside the above network to our corporate domain (no firewalls between our 192.168.16.x network and the corporate network. The domain

Codecs and bandwidth
Hi Friends, Something I'd like to shed some light on if possible - how is it that a single ISDN conversation only uses 64K for bidirectional communication (using ulaw, correct?), but on several occasions now have seen references to ulaw voip conversations using 64K per side of the conversation, plus packet overhead (http://www.zytrax.com/tech/protocols/voip_rates.htm - seems to be down

Difficulty using match

However, when I try: Event.element(el).match(//); I get a javascript error "selector.match is not a function". I
