Hi, I wish to run a Windows program under Linux. It will be triggered from another program when nobody is logged in; in other words, it won't need a GUI; it's just doing number crunching. I'm running Mandrake 8.1 (Cooker). I get the subject error when I try to start wine. I've tried the latest wine version (20010629) and the next to latest version. Same result. Aloha. The current CVS snapshot and 1.0-test14 will not build on Solaris 8 because it does not provide a sendfile() funtion. It just has sendfilev(). Solaris 9 has sendfile(), though.
