NTLM oddities
Started implementing the MasterUser changes to my config files so I can finally offer SPA for pop3/imap. Things are working fine with the MasterUser (horray!), however one of my guys started using SPA with Outlook Express and started getting another users mailbox. Turns out to be related to NTLM. His Outlook express is configured for the username of 'johnsmith'. However, you'll see

A VPN is switched mode
Hi all, I have been using tinc successfully for a while now. However, I need to do something different from my normal setup, and i am getting the feeling I am doing something obvious wrong. What I want to do is hookup 5 distant linux routers into one bigger network, Since I need to transmit both unicast and multicast traffic, the VPN network has to be in "Mode = switch" [Assumption

object not found - Can not figure out why I get this error: Error in NROW(yCoordinatesOfLines) : object 'low' not found
Hi, I have been using R for over a year now. I am a very happy user. Thank you for making this happen. This is my first question to this list. I trying to add some functions to quantmod that would enable me to draw arbitrary lines and text and make sure they are redrawn. I have created following function: require(quantmod) # Add horizontal line to graph produced by quantmod::chart_Series()

abline(h=whatever) not working in candleChart() (in quantmod)?
Hello, all-- I am having some fun playing with the graphing in quantmod-- very nice! I am writing a function to calculate (and hopefully plot) support and resistance lines, but the usual plot call of "abline(h=value)" does not seem to work. Here's my code: require(quantmod) AAPL<-getYahooData("AAPL") candleChart(AAPL,subset="last 3

dovecot.conf pop3_uidl_format
From the Dovecot 1.0.1 sample dovecot.conf file: # If you want UIDL compatibility with other POP3 servers, use: # UW's ipop3d : %08Xv%08Xu ... # Note that Outlook 2003 seems to have problems with %v.%u format which was # Dovecot's default, so if you're building a new server it would be a good # idea to change this. %08Xu%08Xv should be pretty fail-safe. #

separate SSL certificates for pop3s and imaps
Hi, I'm migrating a uw-imap installation to dovecot. With uw-imap I had different SSL certificates and keys for ipop3d and imapd. How can I configure dovecot to do the same with its pop3s and imaps services? StackGuard-protected Linux and a New StackGuard Compiler (fwd)

dovecot-example.conf error with POP3 UIDL format?
I just installed dovecot 1.0alpha4 on a very busy RHEL4 server with about 1300 users. So far so good, except for the dreaded duplicate emails in outlook for users who use POP3 and have "leave message on server" selected. After searching the archives I found that this is usually related to the UIDL format. The example in the .conf file is this: / # If you want UIDL compatibility

Migration Issues UW-POP3
I am migrating from UW's POP3 server (mbox), to Dovecote (mbox -> maildir). Anyway, I am concerned about the Logging details offered by Dovecot, as I manage several details from the logging information provided by UW's Syslog information. Here's a sample of the UW information: Oct 7 22:08:39 ns6 ipop3d[15432]: pop3 service init from 66.207.133.233 Oct 7 22:08:39 ns6
