Puppet Windows: Spaces in file paths a problem?
I thought I read somewhere in Puppet docs/wiki... that it is
"recommended" to avoid spaces in file paths, or some similar verbiage,
but now I cant find it.
Does Puppet have any known issues with spaces in file paths? It would
of course scare Windows admins away... So I hope I am wrong in
thinking I read that.
Thanks a lot,
Mohamed.

Weird custom type behaviour
Hey,
I have a very trivial parsedfile based type - http://pastie.org/311146

when being run by the daemonized puppet, it results in this error:

no such file to load ubygems (LoadError)
I''m using 1.2.3 as my base rails install and i also get the same problem

which recommended removing the RUBYOPT variable from my (windows)

Non standard rubygems location
Hi,
Page 183 of Programming Ruby, talking about the $: load path variable,
states: "You can always add additional directories to this array from
within your running program". So why can''t I do this in
environment.rb:
$:.concat(Dir["/home/jhughes/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8"]) # path points
at my install of rubygems
and then have
require ''rubygems''
