chan_capi capiECT
Hi all,
does anyone have capiECT working? I can't get it to work - please see
my logfiles below.
While using an * CVS version of late September and chan_capi-0.2.5 (I
guess), it worked!!! (I know, never change a running system ...
should've backuped ... etc.)
Here's the setup:
NT----AgfeoISDNPBX----AgfeoISDNPBX----AnalogPhones
in between the two PBX I attached my * server with a

CAPI not installed, after changed from i4l to CAPI
I had unexpected hangups from my asterix box using the i4l driver. (SIP
<-> SIP calls worked execellent, but SIP<->ISDN didn't.)
Then I changed the i4l driver in modem.conf with the chan_capi from
jungham. (http://www.junghanns.net/asterisk)
I followed his instructions in the INSTALL file, and first encountered
some errors compiling it. It help by deinstalling several

Chan_capi: using both b-channels
Hi there,
I just recently installed asterisk from cvs on SuSE 8.2 successfully. I was
quite surprised since asterisk seems to be a quite complex and powerful
application. I also installed chan_capi 0.3.5 and am using a Fritz!PCI card at
an ISDN line (PtMP).
I already got some basic extension schemes to work, e. g. the capi callback
example from junghanns.net. One of my goals is to set up an

asterisk + i4l problems
Hello!
Im pretty new of asterisk world: my goal would be using iaxcomm to call ppl over POTN.
Yesterday i configured asterisk to be able to hear a song (with Playback() command) with
iaxcomm, and it was wonderful.
Now, today i tried to configure asterisk to use my ISDN4Linux supported card (a plain HFC card)
with asterisk.
i configured modem.conf this way, after reading

ISDN on CentOS
Hi Folks,
I'm using ISDN-Connections extensively because ADSL is not available.
So far it works fine "out of the box" (CentOS 5 PAE).
Two questions:
1. for which the fcpci-kernel-modules from atrpm-Repo are useful?
2. Whats about channel bundling?
Does CentOS bundling automaticly on every established connection (if it is
selected in Network-Configuration) or is it only

configure fails to see deps when installing on rhel 64bit
Hi,
I'm trying to install the latest wine (wine-1.1.21) from source tar-ball onto a RedHat 5 64-bit server. When I first started, it warned me about a lot of missing libraries (mostly all sorts of 32-bit development files but also some applications like icotool and fontforge). Now I've managed to resolve most of them by running "./configure --enable-maintainer-mode" and then

[Fwd: Re: [Asterisk-biz] bellster.net - GREATadvance]
As far as I know it's not legal to join bellster in Israel.
It means that you're reselling the minutes you buy from the telco
company.
It also means that you need a permit from the Israeli ministry of
communications cause you're acting as an international call provider.
Can't be done here.

None of the unlimited packages you get plan on you using them up.
It's like a couple of years ago when the long distance carriers gave us
the first phone call of the holiday for free, and people let the phone
off hook for the entire week end.
It's illegal for sure, and for a couple of reasons.
a. you're not allow to resell anything someone else sold you and not pay
taxes on it.

one-way audio and isdn4linux
Hi,
Apologies in advance for the lengthy email.
I'm new to asterisk and have trouble with isdn4linux.
The setup is very basic like this:

The hardware involved is:
Compaq EVO with RH9/kernel 2.4.20-30.9.

Kickstart, package always selected
I'm trying to kickstart a Centos 4.1 system with the minimum set of
packages. I have no use for ypbind so I'm trying to prevent from
being installed, but kickstart/anaconda always insist on its
installation (complaining that the package is missing). This is the

Problems with chan-capi
Hi,
i have a debian-system with the asterisk 1:0.9-1 packages and chan-capi
0.3.1-2 installed.
My chan-capi seems to be out-of-order.
Capi and I4l work in general.
I can use isdnlog and capi4hylafax.
Using chan_modem_i4l with the sam context work fine too.
But no incoming calls are answered by asterisk over chan-capi.
If have 2 isdn-card: a passive avm a1 (i4l/hisax) and a active avm b1

some EICON Diva 4BRI questions
Hi!
I have some (short) question about the Eicon DIVA (V-)4BRI cards I want
to have (short) answered before buying the DIVA card. I know there are
several Eicon guys active on the list, thus I ask on the list instead of
directly to Eicon so that all other will benefit as well.
1. Do Eicon DIVA (V-)4BRI cards support TE and NT mode?
2. Can the clock (master/slave) be configured independent

Dial via sip gateway?
I'm having a brain fart....
What's the proper syntax for dialing out via a sip g/w (Mediatrix)?
Been trying stuff similar to:
exten => _6X.,1,Dial(SIP/3091@205.22.93.1/${EXTEN-1})
where 3091 is alias for the port on the Mediatrix. Sniffer indicates * did
even try the IP.

I am trying to implement a follow-me script
(http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+Tips+follow+me) but I am having a
brain fart as I haven't a clue where to get started with what to do with
this. From my main menu, I want the extension 300 to execute the script as
follows:
exten => 300,1,dial(sip/200,20)
exten => 300,2,playback(pls-wait-connect-call)

[LLVMdev] Google's Go
No, its up to them which backend they want to use.
Sounds like they think that GCC is super quick compared to LLVM. Looks
like another fud fart out of google to me.

Shared Line Appearance
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Ok... I am having a serious brain fart this evening. IIRC, the next sip
draft addresses shared lines and I thought I remembered something on the
list about support for it in the near future.
I also thought that chan_sccp supported it with in asterisk. Am I
loosing it here?
Is there an implementation for shared line support in asterisk? I know
that

NEWBIE - No Audio on ISDN BRI (Teles PCI)
Hello, folks! This is my first post here.
I installed Asterisk from scratch and after reading a lot of information on
voip-info and this mailing list I was able to get started.
I can make sip-to-sip calls (just on a basic extentions structure, let's say
for beginners) but now I'm trying to make this system works with my Teles
ISDN BRI PCI card.
I can make and receive calls through X-Ten

[Copfilter] Copy of quarantined email - *** SPAM *** [6.6/6.0] Problems getting Asterisk to detect call in
I have installed an Asterisk 1.4 on Suse93 using a FritzCard.
Some calls are logged to the ISDN log, but Asterisk is not detecting
incoming calls.
I wonder whether some other device or process is preventing Asterisk
from gaining access to the isdn line?
Is there some way to ensure that only Asterisk can listening to the
line, or get it to share the line with some other device, such as the
