2.2.8a newbie path problem
Hi
I'm presently installing 2.2.8a on Mandrake 9.1
I'm a newbie to Linux as well as Samba, so it's been fun...
When I first installed Linux I installed Samba from the discs (2.2.7a), but
on reading up on the subject it became clear that I should give installing
the source a go.
My problem is this - I don't think I have rerouted all of the paths to
usr/local/samba from what

Can't launch anything - cannot find '134653856'
I am using Mandrake Linux 8.1 beta 3, kernel 2.4.8-19mdk
on a 1GHz AMD system.
I use the supplied RPM: wine-20010731-1mdk
I have one problem no matter what I try to launch, I get an
error:

I can't run anything with Wine 20031016 and Mandrake Linux 9.1. Using
default configuration.

would log in to nethack at alt.org and using a pipe to get the login data
from pwsafe directly onto the server.
All of this works brilliantly after playing with some stty magic (full
script in [0]), however, this way the terminal size is burned into
