Bind Module
Anyone know where I can find a good chrooted named module for centos? Named as chroot is ugly... soft and hard links everywhere... Yet more variable scoping pain.
Some days I wonder why I even bother with puppet. --- classes: - datacentre::new_york - role::appserver - elements::tfel0 environment: production: parameters: < set key/value pairs here > class ldap { < do some stuff that behaves slightly differently between different data centers > } class role::appserver { include ldap } So, I wanted to set some variables in the

puppet file recursion requires two passes to converge
Hi, So for awhile I have been seeing this issue but it hasn''t been painful. However, recently I have been deploying a new module that has made it much more annoying. file { cdh3_config: recurse => true, ignore => ".svn", checksum => md5, notify => Exec[hadoop_alternatives], require

Sun Java module for RedHat
Hi. I googled for this thoroughly but couldn''t find any module that actually worked. Is there any good puppet module or manifest for installing Sun JDK? Module names - limitations / reserved words?
Greeting, I''m attempting to solve a mystery we had with a puppet module we couldn''t get to auto load. The module named / folder was called "nfs" We notice when we ran ''puppetmasterd --no-daemonize --verbose'' that when the client connected that our ''nfs'' module was not being auto loaded. We reviewed and triple checked our syntax.

How to add new AVR targets?
Is there anything I can do about it? BTW: gcc is loosing the AVR backend, so I would assume, there will be a greater interest to this in llvm compared to the past. How to add new AVR targets?
Hi Dylan, looks ok now. One thing: the ISR is now: __vector_21: ; @__vector_21 __vector_21$local: sei push r0 push r1 in r0, 63 push r0 clr r0 push r24 lds r24, v1 sts v2, r24 pop r24 pop r0 out 63, r0 pop r1 pop r0 reti There are unneccessary push/pops of r1 and r0 too, since the clr is useless ... How to add new AVR targets?
Hey Wilhelm, That's a bug, the "interrupt" attribute is not being recognized by the backend. I have fixed it in https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/commit/339b34266c1b54a9b5ff2f83cfb1da9cd8c9d90a Pull the latest LLVM and it should be fixed. Identify period length of time series automatically?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi I have 10.000 simulations for a sensitivity analysis. I have done a few sensitivity analysis for different response variables already, but now, as most of the simulations (if not all) show some cyclic behaviour, see how the independent input parameter influence the frequency of the cyclic changes and "how cyclic" they actually are. 2.6.0rc3 ssh_authorized_users/parsed.rb
Hi all, Full path: /usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/puppet/provider/ssh_authorized_key/parsed.rb Two problems: 1) Even if filebucketing is disabled, this (still) tries to backup authorized_keys to /var/lib/puppet/clientbucket/[...]; no other modules are doing filebucketing when it''s disabled but they (correctly) do when it is enabled. 2) The filebucketing is (still) being done with euid set

Kaplan Meier function
Hi all, I am trying to draw a Kaplan-Meier curve and I found online that Kaplan - Meier estimates are computed with a function called km in the event package. Is there an update for that because when I choose to download packages in R,. there is no package called event, even though I have selected all the repositories. Thanks in advance, Eleni [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

How to stop Kaplan-Meier curve at a time point
Hello R users I have a question with Kaplan-Meier Curve with respect to my research. We have done a retrospective study on fillings in the tooth and their survival in relation to the many influencing factors. We had a long follow-up time (upto 8yrs for some variables). However, we decided to stop the analysis at the 6year follow up time, so that we can have uniform follow-up time for all the

config checks and service bounces
Puppeteers, I''ve seen things in the documentation to make me think this is possible but I''m not sure how to implement it. Here''s what I''d like to do: puppetd pulls down a config file, say httpd.conf BEFORE puppetd moves it to $path, I''d like to have it check it''s integrity with apachectl configtest IF configtest passes, then puppetd should

Survival, Kaplan-Meier, left truncation
Dear all, I have data from 1970 to 1990 for people above age 50. Now I want to calculate survival curves by age starting at age 50 using the Kaplan Meier Estimator. The problem I have is that there are already people in 1970 who are older than 50 years. I guess this is called delayed entry or left truncation (?). I thought the code would be: roland <- survfit(Surv(time=age.enter,
