[PATCH] Even on Debian, the package containing the diff binary it has been diffutils for two years.
There had been a virtual package "diff" that depended on diffutils, but that's gone in wheezy/sid, too.

[PATCH] Add diffutils package
Currently guestfs_equal is broken on Fedora 12. It turns out this is
because /usr/bin/cmp isn't being included in the appliance, which is
because diffutils is no longer an implicit dependency of something
else. This patch makes diffutils an explicit package so we avoid this
problem.

Howto change default wineprefix settings?
I have a dilemma.
When freshly installing game (i usually used wineprefixcreate, but now I just use WINEPREFIX when installing) I want certain settings to be used when starting wine.
Now I have to click-click through my winecfg to make them right every time I install new game or software. Most notable edits are Sound, Drives and Desktop integration (where the personal folders are configured).

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc -O0 compile times
I've started investigating -O0 -g compile times with llvm-gcc, which
are pretty important for people in development mode (e.g. all debug
builds of llvm itself!).
I've found some interesting things. I'm testing with mainline as of
r52596 in a Release build and with checking disabled in the front-
end. My testcase is a large C++ source file: my friend
