Samba and solaris automountd
Hello folks, I have posted a message similar to this on the solaris list. I'm trying to export a number of shares that are automounted under a common directory, i.e, /prog. Under /prog, I have directories such as /prog/one, /prog/two, /prog/three, /prog/four e.t.c; some of the directories are from the same nfs server, others are from different nfs servers. The beauty of automounting /prog

automountd hangs
Hi Samba admins, I was wondering if any of you had problems with your automounter with Samba ? My environment is: Samba 1.9.17p4 on a Sparc20 running Solaris 2.5.1 with the home directories defined in the NIS+ tables. The client are all Win95 PC. Lately, we lose the automounter on the Sun host. Even logged in as root on the console I cannot 'cd' to the /home directory. We have

Dear mailing list members, I am a beginner of this community. I would like to analyze data in a .rdata file. I suppose this question is very basic, but I could not find solutions

FXTabBook / FXTabItem / FXTabBar
Lyle and Henon; thanks for helping out with ''clearing'' the frames. It''s working. I end up using; parent.removeChild(righttopframe) righttopframe = nil Am afraid I stumbled on another question. I managed to put my application in a tabbook. I am looking to catch the event ''click on tabitem''. I tried SEL_COMMAND on TabItem but that seems not to work.

counting occurrence of text in a dataframe
Hello list. I am hoping for some help with a relatively simple problem. I have a data frame arranged as below. I want to be able to count the occurrence of each gene (eg let-7e) by Experiment. In other words how many times does a given gene crop up in the dataframe. I tried table but couldn't work out how to get the output I want. I have also considered rearranging this data into a list (by

A copy of ApplicationController has been removed from the module tree but is still active!
Yes, more dependencies.rb fun! As far as I''m able to ascertain, these errors started appearing after upgrading from Rails 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 and persist in 2.3.3. They''re highly nonderministic and appear rather sporadically, which makes it extremely frustrating. Multiple developers on our team have experienced this problem across varying versions of Ruby/Rails. They''re

How to convert .Rdata file into .csv or something else?
Welcome to the forum .Rdata may contain many different objects. I would suggest doing a? "ls()" to see what objects you have. then have a look at ?write.table or ?write.csvThese commands will write many types of objects to a .csv file. For example if I have a data.frame called "dat1" I can write it to a csv (text) file like this: write.csv(dat1, "~/Rjunk/mydata.csv")

zfs set sharenfs=on
I started sharing out zfs filesystems via NFS last week using sharenfs=on. That seems to work fine until I reboot. Turned out the NFS server wasn''t enabled - I had to enable nfs/server, nfs/lockmgr and nfs/status manually. This is a stock SXCR b49 (ZFS root) install - don''t think I''d changed anything much. Shouldn''t a ZFS share be permanently enabling NFS?

CRAM-MD5 support?
Hi, I'm wondering what is dovecot's support for CRAM-MD5? The mailing list for November 2003 seems to indicate that Timo has included it into the CVS tree, however the ChangeLogs in the latest version does not say anything about it. The online docs has indicated that it's supported, but the doc files in 0.99.10.4 doesn't seem to mention about it.... Thanks in advance.

FX ruby program error EOF
Since a week or so I am getting this error in a program which has been running fine for 6 months or so. I have a hard time running debug on this error and finding the cause. As it seems that the error is in the middle of fxruby and not in my application. I click on button1 - the first time every works perfect. Handling the next record, pressing button1 leads to this error. Any help is

solaris 10 SMF setup?
Hello I'm in the process of putting SMB onto a dual Opteron x64 box running Solaris 10, with the SFW samba as supplied by Sun. I haven't found any hooks for this for the new SMF/SVC startup system, so I'm doing so now, but before I go any further, am I duplicating any efforts? Is anyone else doing this and has done it? At present I'm only starting smbd and nmbd (I never really

How to keep gid status
Dear all, I would like to know how to keep primary gid status when using ssh command. We know that, with sg command in ssh command line, it is successful in this case. If there is the setting on sshd, I want to know the way. Can you please advise me. I show a example as below. $ id uid=1002(taro) gid=1002(suzuki) groups=10(wheel),1002(suzuki),8001(tanaka) $ newgrp tanaka $ id uid=1002(taro)
