[PATCH 0/4 v1] Remove gettextify, implement OCaml gettext.
Version 1 of the patch, for discussion, but not to be applied. It does work, but needs a lot more testing. This removes all the psychopathic gettextify cruft, and replaces it with a 99 line Makefile.am. A large win, I think. The third patch implements gettext support in the OCaml tools. The fourth patch is just for illustration. It shows the consequent changes to libguestfs.pot and the po

Not sure where to put this but I am cc''ing the ZFS - discussion board. I was successfull in creating iscsi shares using ZFS set shareiscsi=on with 2 thin provisioned partitions of 1TB each (zfs create -s -V 1tb idrive/d1). Access to the shares with an iscsi initiator was successful, all was smooth, until the reboot. Upon reboot, the console reports the following errors. WARNING:

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list. I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without modifications. How did I try it? Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock ) Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee prep-out.log The build failed at the end: Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL Checking

nokogiri: parsing tags
Hello, I''m trying to use nokogiri gem to parse individual xhtml tags (not the whole html document) and preform some processing on them. Heres an example of a string that I want to process: str = ''<img src="http://www.canadascapital.gc.ca/data/2/rec_imgs/5005_Pepsi_H1NB.gif"/> some text<a href="#">test</a> ....'' The following code

patch to add a menu item in Rgui for RSiteSearch
Please consider adding the following to the next R release (I understand that it's too late for R-2.1.0). It adds the menu item `Search R Site' in the `Help' menu in Rgui (which calls RSiteSearch() on the input string). Recommended GUI for Speex
Hi all, I have recently added Speex support to my app (http://sbooth.org/Max/) and am in the process of creating a GUI for the user to control the codec parameters. I am new to Speex and as such I am not really sure which parameters are more important than others, and deserve prominent placement, etc. Is there a recommended GUI for people to follow or use as an example? Recommendation on a probability textbook (conditional probability)
I need to refresh my memory on Probability Theory, especially on conditional probability. In particular, I want to solve the following two problems. Can somebody point me some good books on Probability Theory? Thank you! 1. Z=X+Y, where X and Y are independent random variables and their distributions are known. Now, I want to compute E(X | Z = z). 2.Suppose that I have $I \times J$ random number

Unless in exec doesn''t seem to be honored on notify.
This was a fun one to track down... I was trying to use the append_if_no_such_line script from the wiki and it was working fine EXCEPT when I threw a notify at it. The notify appears to completely ignore both unless and onlyif within the exec for some reason. If I put the same test in the actual command line, it works fine. Example: unless => "/bin/grep -Fqe ''$line''

Loop or some other way to parse by data generated values when it is not linear
I'm sorry for the really vague subject line but I am not sure how to succinctly describe what I am doing and what the problem is. But, here goes: 1. I have data with two-way data with frequencies. Below is an example, though in reality I am looking at about 10 different variables that I am crossing so the values of X1 and X2 change. X1 and X2 are place holders. Here's the dataset

Testing the equality of correlations
Dear All, I wonder if there is any implemented statistical test in R to test the equality between many correlations. As an example, let X1, X2, X3 X4 be four random variables. let Phi(X1,X2) , Phi(X1,X3) and Phi(X1,X4) be the corresponding correlations. How to test Phi(X1,X2) = Phi(X1,X3) = P(X1,X4)? Many thanks in advance, Bernard

Hi all, Sorry to bother you with the potentially not too bright question, but since I cannot get it to work, I'll have to ask someone.. Refreshonly question
Does anyone have a technique for performing an exec the first time puppetd runs but then reverting to refreshonly => true state for subsequent runs? The basic idea is: file { "/etc/foo": notify => Exec["bar"] } exec { "bar": command => "Do stuff to /etc/foo", refreshonly => true } Should I use a fact that is unset based on a
