tcl/tk return problem
Hello, I'm very new in working with tcl/tk in R and have a problem which will probably sound silly to most of you. Here is the code I have problems with: readcelfiles <- function() { require(tcltk) tt <- tktoplevel() tkgrid(tklabel(tt,text="Choose a directory!")) [PATCH v3] v2v: bootloaders: search grub config for all distributions
From: Pavel Butsykin <pbutsykin@virtuozzo.com> This patch improves the search of grub config on EFI partition. This means that the config will be found not only for rhel but also for many other distributions. Tests were performed on the following distributions: centos, fedora, ubuntu, suse. In all cases, the config path was /boot/efi/EFI/*distname*/grub.cfg The main purpose of the patch

[PATCH 1/2] Config: NFC: always create and pass round a Config object
We previously wouldn't create a Config object if no config file was specified. This change ensures that a Config object is always created, but will do nothing interesting if there is no config file. Apart from being slightly cleaner, this allows information provided by Config to be later supplied from the command line instead. --- lib/Sys/VirtV2V/Config.pm | 34

startup script for icecast
Hello, I was wondering about the feasibility of including a startup script for icecast for redhat/fedora installs? I've had to do an rpm install on an fc4 box, and a source install, rpms couldn't be found for an rh9 machine, yah i know that's old. And in both cases i had to drop in a custom-made startup script, see below. I was wondering esepcially in the case of the rpm, and

[PATCH] chain.c32: support chainloading GRUB2 core.img
Here is a patch that makes it possible to chainload GRUB2 core.img form chain.c32. It reuses the grub= parameter (used for chainloading GRUB Legacy stage2): - both loaded at 0x8000 - start execution at offset 0x200 (0x8200 in memory) GRUB2 allows to specify another "GRUB home dir" than the standard /boot/grub GRUB2 doesn't allow to change the configfile 'grub.cfg' name

Adding resource parameters in inheritence
Hello, On some machines being managed by Puppet I would like to perform targetted audit runs with "puppet -t --noop --tags audit" For better or for worse I am trying to do this with a separate module "audit" rather than add the audit => to the resources and use inheritence. i.e. class audit::resolver inherits resolver::config { notify{"Running audit on

Best practice for users/groups on solaris
Hi all, I''m a new puppet user and I''m running into some weirdness around creating users on solaris. (puppet version 0.23.2) The virt_all_users way of managing users seems pretty reasonable, but I don''t see how to deal with user specific groups with that. I have: class virt_all_users { @user { "seph": ensure => "present",

The keypair is created on first use, so password will be initialized to empty string going thru pkcs5. This is slightly inconvenient. > > > To avoid

dovecot 2.1 breaks FTS + pre-auth?
Hi. I use dovecot in the simplest possible way, as an IMAP server in pre-auth mode over ssh or just locally over a unix-domain socket (e.g., with offlineimap, which runs much faster using dovecot for the local message store). Ideally I would like to avoid running any extra daemons or setting up anything as root. Until recently, this has worked fine by just setting the CONFIG_FILE environment

[PATCH 1/6] Convert config file to XML, and translate networks/bridge for all connections
Previously, only the LibVirtXML connection translated network and bridge names in imported metadata. This change moves this functionality in Converter, making it available to LibVirt connections as well. At the same time, the format of the config file is switched to XML. The primary driver for this is that the allowable syntax of a foreign network/bridge name is not known. Rather than create a

Class dependency question
So I have two classes for openvz setup. The first is openvz::setup and it sets up the box for OpenVZ.. then another class (in same .pp file) called openvz::master sets up the config for the main system (as opposed to a VE). The error I see is that the openvz::master class is executed (and fails) becuase it doesn''t seem to load up the setup class? debug: Calling puppetmaster.getconfig
