Problems compiling C code on windows
Hi all,
I can't get my C routines running on a windows box. I have no problems at
all in Linux.
On windows, I have installed cygwin and the compilation works well but once
I execute "dyn.load(.)" it hangs whatever I use C/C++ interfaces.
In Linux it works wonderful but I need to get this code running on windows
boxes.
I know that the problem should be something with the

Recursive dir.create() on Windows shares
Hi folks,
I've noticed that there's an issue with the recursive creation of
directories that reside on network shares. For example:

dir.create('\\\\SERVERNAME\\Empl\\Home1\\active\\e\\ecortens\\thisisatest',
recursive = TRUE)

omindex killed
I'm finding that omindex is consistently ending prematurely when
indexing certain files. The last output looks like this:
[Entering directory /compounds/Acetic_acid]
Indexing "/MATLAB/compounds/Acetic_acid/AACID_50T.TXT" as text/plain ...
added.
Indexing "/MATLAB/compounds/Acetic_acid/AACID_50T.pdf" as

Newbie questions about omega
Dear all,
I am a newbie to Xapian-Omega.
I installed Xapian-Omega (1.2.14) a few days ago on my freebsd NAS server,
and intend to use it to search my CIFS/SMB share.
So far it works fine (I am able to search my share using the omega web
interface), nevertheless I have few newbie questions.
Hoping that somebody can answer my (hopefully not to silly) newbie
questions.

omega with samba share
Hello,
I have installed and configured omega to index samba shares on a debian server. I would like to know if it's possible to change the HREF links on the search results page to begin "file://" instead of "http://"
I had a look at the templates files and there was no obvious solution that I could see.
Thanks.

combining databases for omega
From the documentation I've read, omega can read from multiple
databases, but I'm not sure how to go about this.
I have three databases created using omindex, currently located at
/var/lib/xapian-omega/data/share, /var/lib/xapian-omega/data/users, and
/var/lib/xapiax-omega/data/management
The quickstart guide says that in omega.conf database_dir should point

confusion about term prefixes
I am confused about using term prefixes for omega searches. There are a number of term prefixes that are reserved and used by omindex. In order to use those for searching with omega, do I need to use the $setmap{} function in the omega template or are the reserved ones built in?

CFA with lavaan or with SEM
Hi
Sorry for the rather long message.
I am trying to use the cfa command in the lavaan package to run a CFA however I am unsure over a couple of issues.
I have @25 dichotomous variables, 300 observations and an EFA on a training dataset suggests a 3 factor model.
After defining the model I use the command
fit.dat <- cfa(model.1, data=my.dat, std.lv = T, estimator="WLSMV",

Relicensing: Revised Developer Policy
Hi all,
Now that we’ve settled on the license legalese to get to, we need to start the process of relicensing. We’re still sorting through all of the details of what this will take, but the first step is clear: new contributions to LLVM will need to be under both the old license structure and the new one (until the old structure is completely phased out). From a mechanical perspective, this is

Samba quota 'feature' fix?
Hey Guys and Gals,
I'm wondering if the quotas.c file is supposed to fix the problem where a
Linux x86 system running with the quota software causes corrupt files to be
written by Windows clients. I compiled it in and it didn't seem to make a
difference for the following problem.
In other words, if I enable quotas on my RH6.2 / 2.2.16-22 kernel box and
then write a file via Samba/Windows

latest pv_ops dom0 (2.6.29-rc6) crashes / unhandled page fault
Hello.
log of the crashing boot process:
http://pasik.reaktio.net/xen/pv_ops-dom0-debug/pv_ops-dom0-bootlog-14-xen331-linux-2.6.29-rc6-crash.txt
2.6.29-rc5 based pv_ops dom0 works on the same computer.. with the same Xen version.
I tried with and without pci=nomsi.
adding ''noapic'' doesn''t seem to help (I need that with 2.6.29-rc5 to make it work).
Any ideas
