I think what i did is the same with you except i use make rather than make -sj8, and I did as root.
And I do as you wrote again:

Asterisk handling of SIP info
We encouter a situation where we need to use SIP info to convey infomation
for one end point to another endpoint. I use asterisk to do the test and
find asterisk does not forward the SIP info to another endpoint, but act as
UAS and returns a 4xx error message. I think asterisk is not right to handle
this SIP info message.

Processing incoming calls with multiple contextst over PRI
So I have a problem. A customer of mine wants a PBX, owns an office
building. I want to sell him on asterisk. He has 4 tenants. I am using
my asterisk box to simulate it. My asterisk box has a TDM400P card, not
a PRI card. Don't know if it makes any difference.
Anyway, I want to route incoming phone calls to different contexts based
on the phone number being called.

vhost-net requested but could not be initialized
I am using a custom qemu to launch a vhost enabled VM. The qemu doesn't use
the default "/dev/vhost-net" directory as character device. Due to this I
am getting the error:
qemu-system-x86_64: -netdev
type=tap,id=net1,script=no,downscript=no,ifname=port3,vhost=on: vhost-net
requested but could not be initialized
Is there a way to tell libvirt to avoid using the default

virt-install with --channel option inquiry
hi, virt guys,
This is Hongqing from Fedroa QA team. I try to forward the guest installation logs to host with virtio.
I have used virsh edit <guestName> to add a channel, it works fine.
I think it would be better if I can initialize it when I create the guest using virt-install,
and virt-install also offers the option, I have tried below, but it does not work.

Re: vhost-net requested but could not be initialized
Thanks Wangkai but libvirt infact pre-configures network tap devices and
pre-opens /dev/vhost-net file and passes these to qemu as open, ready to
use file descriptors.
My issue is that my qemu requires that /dev/vhost-net directory is removed
and it's kernel module be unloaded. Then it creates a vhost -net device
using its own configuration.

Problems with folders named the same like the share
Hello,
I saw a behavior on shares, where "msdfs root = yes" is set and wanted
to know if this is a bug or expected. The following I've done on a 4.1.9
member server:
* Create a share:
[demo]
path = /srv/samba/
msdfs root = yes
browseable = yes
* Create a subfolder "demo" somewhere on the shared directory on Linux
and make sure, that a group you

RE: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 8, Issue 152
I understand Asterisk is more like a B2BUA. But when this INFO request is
sent to asterisk, asterisk is supposed to bridge the request to the other
endpoint, right? In what situation, it decides to send a reply; in what
situation, it decides to bridge the request?
What is the role of gateway in SIP world, a proxy, a B2BUA or something
else?
Thank you,
Wei

You want to use xapian-config-1.3 here, not xapian-config (which will be the installed version, not the trunk version you built).
I've just built trunk (on Mac OS, admittedly),

Code below, the screen print the dialog "root at 192.168.1.102's password:" , and only

Libvirt installion error: You must install the libyajl library & headers to compile libvirt
Dear all,
I am installing the libvirt 1.2.5 on my newly installed Fedora19.
When I run ./configure, an error is reported: "You must install the libyajl library & headers to compile libvirt"
In fact, the package yajl-2.0.4-2fc19.x86_64.rpm has been installed on the fedora19.
I found several links talking about this error and I downloaded 3 files (configure.ac, m4/virt-yajl.m4,

json code, so I''m open
