Not sure if Polycom is changing their policy or if this is an accident, but you can actually download SIP 3.1.1 right from their web site. I am posting here since you guys are my last hope. I am trying to configure a Polycom Soundpoint IP 335 with MWI. Is there any way to eliminate the scrolling messages and Msgs softkey? I know how to remap a key on a polycom 301 and 501.... But does anyone know of a list of mapping keys? For example, the Do Not Disturb on a 301 is #23. I got that one by just guessing though. Thanks, Rob

We recently took a few Polycom Soundpoint IP 500 to test out in Asterisk environment. So far it has been good. Call Hold, Transfer, DMTF etc. However, I do notice every now and then the Polycom fails to register with Asterisk. now that I have finally figured out what I was doing wrong with my polycom phone and got it to read the configuration file Im changing some gains. I successfully changed the gain for the ringer... It was too low for me. Does anyone know which gain would be for the call waiting and which tone would be for the "hands free" mode? Thanks

Thanks, I was afraid to try and change gains that I didn't know what they did simply because I don't want to blow a speaker or something.. :) I'll try it today. The only thing I haven't figured out is how to set a default ringer in the configuration file, set my time to EST w/ Daylight Savings and when receiving incoming calls if it's possible to see NAME & NUMBER instead
