Setting the transfer threshold voltage on a TrippLite OMNI900LCD
At the company I work for, we are using many TrippLite OMNI900LCD UPSs and are having difficulty setting the lower transfer threshold voltage. On our other model, the Eaton MGE-3S550, this can be set using upsrw to set the input.transfer.lowsetting, but on the Omni900, this option is not available. In our testing, it defaults to ~95v but we want to set it to 84v. More info: - OS = OpenSuse 13.1 -

problem with compression and decompression
Hi, I am facing a problem with my Voice Communication application. I am using the Speex API, and have based my application on the given example files sampleenc.c and sampledec.c. I'm using the OpenAL SDK for voice capture. I have provided below the two main functions within which the problem exists. "Compress()" and "Decompress()". Below the code for these functions, I

Tar Compression issue
I have a file Server CentOS 5.10, its on the internet, so I compress all csv into one file using (tar -czvf compressed_files.tar.gz *.csv) on this server so that I can download them as one compressed file to save bandwidth, Disk space on this server available is 50Gig, so when I copy the files onto Redhat EL 5.9 and decompress them using (tar -zxvf *.gz) It decompresses maybe 80% then get error:

Bit allocation dependetnt on masking threshold and floor1 inverse dB lookup table
Hi, We are two students doing project with Vorbis audio compression for our B.Sc studies. We have two questions: Our first question related to the floor1 inverse dB lookup table. As we understood the floor values encoded as offset integers (Y) from 1 to 256 and then used as index in the floor1_inverse_dB_table to get an encoded value. This value (denoted as X) is inverse of linear frequency so

determine the shrinkage threshold in PAMR?
1. According to the doc of PAMR, the shrinkage threshold is determined by cross-validation. Does this mean that user need not tune any parameter? 2. I tried two applications using PAMR, the results are very disappointing. The attached are the cross-validation results. You can see that the classification errors are relatively high (0.2 at the best), in the case of two categories classification,

OGG Edge artifacts due to compression
Hello all, I'm finishing up a sound engine for a PC game product which uses Vorbis to playback OGG music samples. However, I've run into a problem with edge artifacts on sounds that need to either loop back onto themselves or into other music tracks, without fading. I've also experienced this same problem on large music files that are broken up into smaller permutations to save

outlier threshold
For the analysis of financial data wih a large variance, what is the best way to select an outlier threshold? Listed below, is there a best method to select an outlier threshold and how does R calculate it? In R, how do you find the outlier threshold through an interquartile range? In R, how do you find the outlier threshold using the hist command? In R, how do you find the outlier threshold

unknown compression
Hello, I am trying to modify some functions in an existing package. I can get a function by just typing the name in the console, but how can I get all the functions in a package? the ./R/ subdirectory has files xx.rdb and xx.rdx which I can not decompress with 7-zip or with unzip, unrar etc. The help files are compressed with gzip in the ./man/ folder and can be unzipped easily. Thanks for your

threshold in plot
Hi   I want to draw a plot from observed and predicted data and also shows threshold and data before threshold are identified with different color from data after threshold.   Suppose: abserved data are 0 or 1 predicted data= 0 to 1 threshold=0.5   Thanks alot     [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Storage compression patch for Rsync (unfinished)
Hi, i am using Rsync for making backups of a MySQL database. The MySQL files can be compressed about 1:10 and i want to make use of this fact. Rsync currently doesn't support saving files in a compressed state. I personally think this should be a feature for the filesystem (in the sense of "synchronised files") but currently there is no such filesystem for Linux available.

Log queue threshold (1000) exceeded. Discarding new messages.
Hi. I've just upgraded from Asterisk 13 to Asterisk 16 (as part of a Debian & Devuan version upgrade). Whenever Asterisk starts, I'm now getting entries such as the following in my log file: WARNING[13905]: logger:0 in ***: Log queue threshold (1000) exceeded. Discarding new messages. Where can I set this threshold? I don't want the system to discard new messages - mainly

Changing the classification threshold for cost function
Dear All I am trying to perform leave-one-out cross validation on a logistic regression model using cv.glm from the boot package in R. As I understand it, the standard cost function: cost<-function(r,pi=0) mean(abs(r-pi)>0.5) Uses a 50% risk threshold to classify cases as positive or negative and calculates the prediction error based on this. I would like to alter this threshold to,

Threshold Quantile Regression code CRASHES in R
I am working on a two stage threshold quantile regression model in R, and my aim is to estimate the threshold of the reduced-form equation (call it rhohat), and the threshold of the structural equation (call it qhat), in two stages. On the first stage, i estimate rhohat by quantile regression and obtain the fitted values. I use these fitted values to estimate qhat on the second stage. The code is

[LLVMdev] function inlining threshold ?
I am using llvm for source-to-source inlining. So I did: % llvm-gcc file_a.c file_b.c ... file_n.c -o file % opt -inline -inline-threshold=1000 < file.bc | llc -march=c > outfile.c Can anyone tell me how llvm determines if a function should be inlined, and what roll does "inline-threshold" play ? (Does the example mean that if the function body has fewer than 1000 instructions,

Cannot set heartbeat dead threshold
