Spamassassin + Postfix : delete spam mail on the server ?
Hi,
My mail server is running on CentOS 7 with Postfix, Dovecot and
Spamassassin. I get quite a lot of spam on a few accounts, and
Spamassassin does its job fine. Spam mail is identified correctly, and
it looks like there are no false positives, e. g. valid mail is never
identified as spam.
When a message is flagged as spam, the subject line is rewritten to
begin with [SPAM]. Then, a filter in

Received Dates/Squirrelmail
I am trying to figure out an issue I have with the e-mails in my inbox
showing up in Squirrelmail. I sometimes get (more often than I care for
it to happen) e-mails which show up as new either many hours ago or days
ago. I have one particular e-mail that in Squirrelmail is showing a data
of Tue, 8:23PM.
The received header of that e-mail shows:

Here's what I'm trying to do. I have a spam filtering operation as a
front end for other servers. I've created a virtual server for spam

to review and release their spam. The email is stored in maildir format.
Piecing it together I can use squirrelmail to pipe the email into
something so that if a use finds a

I have an ongoing problem with imap processes that hang and eat all
available cpu. I try killing them and they won't die. The only way to
get rid of them is to reboot the server.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. I really

SquirrelMail Sending Under Wrong Username
CentOS team... as is already bug reported and marked solved... as we
await the upstream repair for this.
It was reported that this was happening on CentOS 5. You likely already
know, but it also happens on CentOS 4.
For those unaware. It seems that SquirrelMail has an issue which allows
mail to be sent out from one user on the system and it uses the from
address of another user on the

Copying just the folders to new Dovecot server?
I am setting up a new Dovecot server and I want to start from scratch, i.e. with an empty mailbox. But I want to have the same folders in my new mailbox that I have in my old. Is
there a way to create these folders without manually creating one by one?
Regards,

Copying sieve scripts
Hello,
I am using squirrelmail with avelsieve to edit my filter rules. The filter
rules are like this:
1. If the message contains a virus, delete the mail and notify me by email.
2. If the message is spam, deliver it to my spam folder.
3. If the message is from the dovecot mailing list, deliver it to my dovecot
folder
Yesterday, I created a new user and wanted to let him have rules 1 and 2

Aggregate weights for a unique set of rows
Hi, all together. I have - a maybe trivial - problem with aggregating a
list of weights.
Here is the problem:
- At first I have set of nodes (X/Y-coordinates) and associated weights,
where the set
of nodes is typically not unique
- I want to get a set of unique nodes and the sum of associated weights
I am grateful for any help
See for example:

restore lost emails
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with this. I am running
Postfix 2.7.0, Dovecot 1.2.9 and squirrelmail. Every week, I perform a back-up
on both Postfix and Dovecot (maildir and conf folders). That's good because I
have all the emails backed up. And now what I would like to ask is whether or
not there are any easy way of restoring e-mails if some emails got deleted by

Maia Mailguard
OK sever hours of grepping through the output of "yum list available,"
google, checking rpmfind, Dag, Fedore Extras, etc., and there doesn't
seem to be a RPM for Maia Mailguard.
If there is one please point me in the right direction and beat me
over the head with the correct way to find RPMs in the future.
Maybe I just need sleep...
