huge increase in storage activity afther dovecot upgrade
Hi,
we upgraded our servers from version 2.2.13 to 2.2.27. After the upgrade we
notice a 10x increase in traffic with the nfs storage an errors like this
in the logfile:

/.../dovecot.index.cache: invalid record size

Thank you !
I was little concerned that the following settings are not in line with the
new version:
mail_nfs_index = yes
mail_nfs_storage = yes
mail_fsync = always
mailbox_list_index = yes
maildir_stat_dirs = yes
mmap_disable = yes

Dovecot does not recognize imported messages
Today I tried to import mail directly on the server's home directory on
the server. I copied it directly. I didn't use the imap protocol. Dovcot
didn't recognize these emails. I didn't display these imported emails on
my page, recalculating disk quotas. It will not increase the used
capacity. I try to send an email to this user, dovcot recognizes all the
emails, and recalculates

* Running dsync no longer triggers quota warnings.

Bounce messages
Hi,
I just set up my mail server using postfix / dovecot / mysql and it works well. I just have a problem : I'm a trying to have a overquota notification and the server sends nothing (mail server rejects incoming mail).
Could you tell me if there is a problem with dovecot or postfix configuration?
Kind regards,Long

Variable expansion in passwords
Hello list
A user reports failure to log in after password change. The client side
error message indicates a lost or dropped connection by the server.
A peek into the server logs reveales this:

Replication: Can't unsubscribe from shared mailbox
Hi,
I am running two dovecot servers active/active.
Everything runs pretty great, except for the replication of subscriptions in a shared namespace.
When I unsubscribe from a folder the subscription instantly re-appears. The timestamp on the subscriptions file is updated, but the entry is still in there.
If the other node is shut down, everything works as expected, which leads me to believe that

Dovecot Master User: Access user's mailbox without owner's password
Hi, I hope you're all right. I describe below the scenario where the
problem occurs.
I'm trying to activate a master user [1] to be able to access all the
boxes of all users by imap.
I have configured the dovecot-master-users [2] file with the
appropriate permissions.
When I try to access, for example with roundcube, through

Last Login Plugin Help
Hi,
I'm configuring Last_Login plugin whith Mysql back end and all works fine.
