Howyd all? Seems that I have been routed. Possibly
by a physical B&E, but who knows? Probably some
of you do.... anyways, some politically sensitive
email was deleted from a user account and the

Interesting reading but, as others have noted, of limited use.
Keystroke logging can be disabled by - as others have noted - either

Duncan post-hoc tests in R?
Hello,
I am looking for an R function that impliments Duncan's post-hoc test. I am
aware of multcomp and its function "glht" but, unless I am missing
something, this cannot impliment the Duncan test.
Any help of pointers are welcome.

Create grouping from TukeyHSD (as a duncan test does)?
Hello everybody
1. If there is/ever will be a function to perform "duncan multiple range test" please inform me at once.
2. Is there a way to create a grouping as duncan does from TukeyHSD output? My experimental design contained 62 genotypes, so the pairwise comparison is not that usefull and clear to look at. How would I do that? Is there an other test that does give grouping as

Log rolling with a daemon
I'm looking for advice or suggestions for rolling log files with a
daemon. I have a python script that I daemonized with
http://www.jejik.com/articles/2007/02/a_simple_unix_linux_daemon_in_python/.
Before I daemonized it it was run from a bash script that invoked the
underlying python script. It ran the python script, waited for it to
complete and then it slept for 5 seconds and ran it again.

mongrel_rails production vs development mode
I am migrating from mongrel_rails in development mode to production
mode. I have a number of debugging statements based on "puts" in my code
that emit info that I see scroll by when mongrel_rails is not daemonized
and running in development mode.
In daemonized production mode what happens to the output from these
statements? I have looked into all the logs, and while I see the

Dear r-helpers,
Here I would like to have your kind helps on generating Venn diagram.
There are some packages within R on this task, like venneuler, VennDiagram,
vennerable. But, vennerable can not be installed on my Mac book. It seems
VennDiagram can not work on my data. And, venneuler may have generated a
wrong Venn diagram to me.
Do you have any experience/expertise on those Venn diagram?

world read permissions on system level files
From: "Biyala, Urvi" <Urvi.Biyala@bankofamerica.com>
>I need to trim the world read permissions from the system sensitive files. I know that it would be safe to trim the permissions from many of the configuration files in /etc. But I was not sure if I could safely tighten the permissions form other system files. Hmmm I don't find any log specific to nrpe. In other words I don't see
/var/log/nrpe.log or whatever. :)
And when I tail -f /var/log/secure or /var/log/messages I don't see any
entries turning up in them when I hit the client with check_nrpe. I was
