Bug#705124: downgrading, we would like to upgrade our developers to Testing. However, this bug prevents us from doing so, and would prevent us from migrating to 7.0 when it becomes released. Pretty critical to the system's stability.

Good afternoon, We currently have R installed on our HP Superdome. However, we are getting ready to migrate from RISC to Itanium 2 chips running HP-UX (not Linux). Does the latest version of R run on HP-UX Itanium 2? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Michael ___________________________________________ R. page allocation failure. order:0, mode:0x50
Just because I've been pulling my hair out for over a month about this problem, I'd like to get it into the archives. When copying large files (multigigabyte) on a CentOS 4.4 4GB Xeon (running 32 bit) server (2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp), I was getting: page allocation failure. order:0, mode:0x50 (snip lines and lines of debug output) This was accompanied by a huge swapout storm that brought

Samba ignoring socket options?
Hi everyone. I am running Samba 3.2.0-22.1 (as packaged by OpenSUSE in 11.0) on a storage server connected to multiple windows based clients over a gigabit ethernet link. The server is a quad core Intel CPU and is equipped with an Intel e1000 based gigabit ethernet controller and plugged into a common gigabit ethernet switch with the windows clients. [Announce] Samba 4.1.19 Available for Download
I show the file size as 19M on the FTP site. 95MB is the gunzipped size. I suspect something unzipped it as it downloaded, I've seen browsers do that. I also pulled the file personally, and found the sizes lined up: ira at ira-t430:~/Downloads [/dev/pts/1](64/0)$ ls -la samba-4.1.19.tar.gz -rw-rw-r--. 1 ira ira 19558250 Jun 23 20:16 samba-4.1.19.tar.gz ira at ira-t430:~/Downloads

DomU Guests not shutting down nicely when Dom0 Hypervisor shuts down
I am using Xen 4.6.0-8.el7 on CentOS 7 with 3 Linux DomUs. I did have Xen 4.? on CentOS 6.5 on my previous system. I installed using yum install centos-release-xen. On shutting down the Hypervisor it used to wait for the DomUs to shut down gracefully (one can take a minute or more), then on starting up again it would restart the DomUs, all nice and controlled. For some reason the DomUs (CentOS
