Click Model Implementation
Hi,
Now that the clickstream logging PR (#161) is close to getting merged
I'm starting to move onto the next step i.e. the implementation of DBN
click model for which I think it'd be best to discuss the approach that
I intend to take and the classes required.
I'm thinking of starting with the implementation of a base class Model
to enable the implementation of DBN click model as its

VoIP friendly Internet providers in Dallas and Philadelphia
Hi Everyone,
My experience is only with the Canadian providers. What options/providers
are there in Dallas and Philadelphia other than Verizon when it comes to
internet? Something in the order of at least 10mbps down and up - I
understand that and higher bandwidths are easily available in USA due to
vast fiber networks? The connection will be replacing a T1 and will be

Need a SIP trunk provider for US - Dallas/TX
All,
I'm in Dallas, TX, US and am looking for inbound-only DID service with
10+ channels on a SIP trunk. Is anyone on this list doing something
similar and have any recommendations for a provider?
Of course I'll be routing either SIP/IAX to an asterisk server that will
be hosted in a Dallas colocation facility.
I found VoxBone.com but they only want to deal with customers that can

R-beta: An R "birds of a feather" meeting at JSM in Dallas
Earlier I suggested a meeting of folks interested in R and who will be
attending the Joint Statistical Meetings in Dallas, TX, U.S.A. It
would be a good time to talk about the software and the directions it
could take or even just to meet some of the people whom you see
corresponding on these groups.
I suggest we try to meet at the business meeting/mixer for the

PassManager insights?
Hi,
We had a problem with AssertingValueHandles exploding in opt for certain sequences of passes and registered TR 27050<https://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=27050> for this. No takers, so I decided to dig a bit deeper into it and found the cause: The CallGraph construction is run twice, and as the first instance is left lying around even after the point at which its analysis is determined

File list and find_fuzzy() insights for algo fiddling
Hi!
I read the source around find_fuzzy(), but got stuck in get_dirlist(). I
thought the latter returns the subset of the current ?global? file list
of the receiver side (which is complete, or an incremental part(?)),
reduced to the ?same directory? restriction.
Can someone enlighten me, where the ?global file list? is stored? Is
that actually used for fuzzy-match? If not, why not?

Insights on SIP channel usage in * 1.2.7.1 are welcome!
I've had a heck of a time getting a SIP channel to work in Asterisk
1.2.7.1 (Redhat 9.0). I've done it successfully a number of times on
pre 1.2 versions of Asterisk so perhaps it's version related. Any
insights are welcome!
At first I wasn't able to dial out on the SIP channel _whenever_ I
started Asterisk (i.e. not just when the box was booted). I always
had to do a reload

Looking for Insights
Hi Guys,
I had a strange problem yesterday and I'm curious as to what everyone
thinks.
I have a client with a Red Hat Enterprise 2.1 cluster. All quality HP
equipment with an MSA 500 storage array acting as the shared storage
between the two nodes in the cluster.
This cluster is configured for reliability and not load balancing. All
work is handled by one node or the other not both.

GWD button drawing prob-- any Cairo pro have insights?
Since I first tried nVidia's AIGLX with Compiz I've been seeing some pretty
consistent drawing problems on GWD's minimize and maximize buttons on hover.
It looks like part of the fill is drawn with low alpha. I haven't been able to
duplicate it when using Xgl... Here's a quick vid of what I'm seeing:

Nunca tive contato antes com Ruby on Rails. Temos um servidor aqui no
