BRI D-channel goes up and down
Hi,
I have a B410P card with span ports set up as
span=3,1,0,CCS,AMI
span=4,2,0,CCS,AMI
span=5,3,0,CCS,AMI
signalling = bri_cpe
switchtype = euroisdn
layer1_presence = ignore
However, I keep getting these messages over and over again:

Asterisk 10/1.6.1 and Dahdi/Libpri compatilities in BRI /PtmP
Hi,
After an upgrade, I discovered yesterday strange things I would like
to share here.
Basically, I'me comparing platforms:
The first one is a 2.6.26 (Debian Lenny) platform, with Asterisk
1.6.1.18, Libpri 1.4.10.2, Dahdi revision 8853 (must be between 2.3
and 2.5, I think).
The second one is a 2.6.32 (Debian Squeeze) platform, with Asterisk
10.5.1, Libpri 1.4.12, Dahdi 2.6.1.
Both are

Weird PRI error on an QUAD E1 span: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255
After working fine for a week or so my new Quad E1 asterisk 1.8 system has started rejecting outbound calls from the Nortel
BMC 450 it is connected to.
The cli fills up with these:
sig_pri.c: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 3
Is this likely to be a
1) config error
2) cable issue (I made them)
3) hardware problem with the Digium card
4) software (lib pri)
Any clues?

Disable connected line updates for dahdi PRI channel
Hi,
Starting in Asterisk 1.8.0, Asterisk supports connected line updates.
This is fantastic for SIP. How can I prevent them from being sent to a
PRI channel?
I'm having problems when a call is answered by an internal SIP
extension, then transferred (blind or attended) to another internal SIP
extension. One of my PRI providers can't handle the ROSE_ETSI_EctInform
APDU and drops the

Dahdi interface flapping
Hello,
I seem to be having an issue with the configuration of my PRI on a new
asterisk server I've created to replace an old install that I have.
The card is Digium Wildcard TE133. I continually get messages like
"Primary D-Channel on span 1 down", rather irregularly:
[2013-07-29 17:31:39] VERBOSE[3621] sig_pri.c: == Primary D-Channel
on span 1 up

sig_pri.c:985 pri_find_dchan: Span 1: No D-channels available! Using Primary channel as D-channel anyway!
Dear;
Thanks a lot for guiding me.
Is it possible that the installation libpri-1.4.11.5 newer than the libpri-1.4.11.5-patch?
Well, when I typed (note: I am trying to apply the libpri-1.4.11.5-patch for the libpri-1.4.11.5):
libpri-1.4.11.5# patch -p0 -i libpri-1.4.11.5-patch
It gave me that patched detected as shown below (example of one file, and I got same for other files):

ISDN Cause Code 47 Errors
We fairly recently switched service providers for our 4 PRI circuits. Since
that time, we started to notice some failed inbound calls. These calls
terminate with an ISDN cause code 47 'resource unavailble'. Most of the
time I see this error on the first or second channel on the second span in
a trunk group (This is the providers trunk group for hunting, not an
Asterisk trunk group). All

Asterisk / PRI and Outbound Overlap Dialing
I am trying to setup Asterisk to act like a PBX connected via a PRI gateway
to a voice netowrk where Asterisk is doing outbound
overlap dialing for calls that terminate via that PRI. AFter researching
through the archives and online dcocs, I thought I had
everyting setup right, dialplan configured for '_X!' and the
'overlapdial=yes' in the chan_dahdi.conf file, but when I try and

PRI congestion instead of busy
I have two servers, each connected to the PTSN via PRI. When I call from site A (951-999-9999) to site B (555-1212) and the phone at site B is on the phone, I hear the normal ring tone for about 20 seconds, then the message "all circuits are busy now. please try your call again latter" followed by the congestion tone. Instead, I want this to busy ring and then hang up without any

Hi All;
My ISDN was working fine, and suddenly I start getting the below:
sig_pri.c:985 pri_find_dchan: Span 1: No D-chanannel anyway!
There is a Yellow Alarm, so what it could be the problem?
My configuration as following:
system.conf
span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,yellow
bchan=1-15,17-31
dchan=16
chan_dahi.conf
context=IncomingPSTN

sig_pri.c:985 pri_find_dchan: Span 1: No D-chanannel
Dear Doug;
But I am afraid it is a bug because I read something this in the below link: https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=17270
But maybe this was for old driver .. again, I am afraid if it is a bug.
DAHDI Version: 2.4.1
libpri-1.4.11.5
Any advise if the below message is a bug?
[Jun 15 16:14:00] WARNING[2773]: sig_pri.c:985 pri_find_dchan: Span 1: No D-channels available! Using

Dears;
To patch libpri: I just place the patch file in the libpri source directory and then I run make and make install?
Or I need to compile the dahdi and asterisk also?
If the problem stayed, do I have to go for previous libpri version? Or for previous dahdi version and asterisk version?
Regards

users can not hear the audio playback sometimes
Hello everyone,
I am facing a strange problem on my asterisk box (using isdn lines with
pri card installed on it). Normal incoming/outgoing calls are working
perfectly fine.
When a user dial a wrong/out-of-service number they don't hear back any
such message like "The number is wrong or user is switched off" in some
cases, and it's just a silence for the user.

Belgian BRI (euroisdn): what to use for a B410P
Hi,
I'm experiencing difficulties to get a B410P running with Asterisk
10.3.1 and DAHDI 2.6.1.
Am I supposed to use DAHDI for this card and ISDN BRI for my country
(Belgium)?
thx,
