Thank you very much for your reply. Your code work well with this example.
I modified a little to fit my real data, I got an error massage.

Proportion test in three-chices experiment
Hi,
I wish to analyze with R the results of a perception experiment in which
subjects had to recognize each stimulus among three choices (this was a
forced-choice design). The experiment runs under two different
conditions and the data is like the following:
N1 : count of trials in condition 1
p11, p12, p13: proportions of choices 1, 2, and 3 in condition 1
N2 : count of trials in

Please need help to finalize my code
Good evening dear administrators,
It is with pleasure that I am writing to you to ask for help to finalize my
R programming algorithm.
Indeed, I attach this note to my code which deals with a case of
independence test statistic . My request is to introduce the kernels using
the functional data for this same code that I am sending you. So I list the
lines for which we need to introduce the

What do you *mean* "when you want to use the kernels".
WHICH kernels?
Use to do WHAT?
In your browser, visit cran.r-project.org
then select "Packages" from the list on the left.
Then pick the alphabetic list.
Now search for 'kernel'.
You will find dozens of matches.

Correlation question
Hi everyone,
I'm observing what I believe is weird behaviour when attempting to do
something very simple. I want a correlation matrix, but my matrix seems to
contain correlation values that are not found when executed on pairs:

par and complex graph
Dear R-Users, I'd like to have some tips about printing graph.
I use the command par to print more graphs in one window:par(mfrow=c(6,1)); par(oma=c(2.5, 2.5, 2.5, 2.5)); par(mar=c(0.5,4, 0.5, 0.5))
But this command doesn't run with complex graphic command (i.e. xyplot, ternaryplot). How can I print more than one graph per page, when I work with this "elaborated" graph? Many

Problem with sample()
Hi,
I'm having a problem using sample() within a function.
Basically I get an error reading:
Error in sample(v, 1, prob = h) : non-positive probability
Can anyone advise me as to the possible origin of this error?
Here is my code

a prolem with constrOptim
Hi,
I apologize for the long message but the problem I encountered can't be stated in a few lines.
I am having some problems with the function constrOptim. My goal is to maximize the likelihood of product of K multinomials, each with four catagories under linear constraints on the parameter values. I have found that the function does not work for many data configurations.

This is just a programming problem which i cannot seem
to figure out. I am trying to get a set of power from

reduce to pain of writing the whole set of data points
(p# below) using "for" loop. However, I seem to have
some problem in it as the output "M" does not

I've been having difficulty writing wrapper functions for some

This is valid C but you forget that str1 is not magically expanded by
strcat. It starts out as, and remains a char array with 8 elements.

Extracting values from a ecdf (empirical cumulative distribution function) curve
Hi R users,
I am a new user, still learning basics of R. Is there anyway to extract y
(or x) value for a known x (or y) value from ecdf (empirical cumulative
distribution function) curve?
Thanks in advance.
