aligning image with bar plot in the same plot
Dear Mailing list, I want to plot a matrix using image() and on its side I want to give information to every line of the matrix using colors. I tried to use barplot, but cannot align the two plots. Code below. I succeed in doing what I want using another image() plot, but was wondering whether there is an easier way to do it. Thank you so much! Tiago ############# code ## matrix to plot matI

Para_virtualised Kernel for running XEN-3.2 on Thamesblue Supercomputer
Hi, We are trying to setup XEN testbed on Thamesblue supercomputer which has IBM JS2X blade servers. I know that XEN 3.2 was the last release which supports PowerPC. We want to give it a try now. We are running SLES 10.2 and Gentoo on these blades. Can anyone please tell me which Pv_ops kernel should I use for setting up XEN 3.2 on powerpc? Thanks. Best Regards, Hassan

Plotted circle does not go through desired points - very long email with code
Hi, ? I am trying to solve a problem related to Poincare circles ( for more info http://www.ms.uky.edu/~droyster/courses/spring08/math6118/Classnotes/Chapter09.pdf). In a nutshell i am trying to replicate the method in the above pdf section 9.2.1. that explains in broad terms how to draw the arc inside a circle that goes through 2 previously set points on the first circle. ? I think i came up

Offtopic: nfs, tmpfs and `getfh failed: Operation not permitted'
Sorry this is off-topic, but I'm scrambling to get this system in, google didn't help, and I'm sure someone on this list knows the answer cold. I'm trying to nfs-export a tmpfs disk. I saw a hint from a response about ram disks... which leads to my guess that tmpfs simply doesn't implement some method that nfsd needs. I can probably survive without tmpfs, but I'd like to

epoll_ctl: Operation not permitted
Hi, I am using wine-0.9.30 (self compiled) on a Debian 3.1 server. Wine is required for CUI-applications, so no X-Server is running. When I log in via ssh and start the application, wine is working fine. But whenever I try it from the webserver via php-script, wine doesn't start properly. It fills the errout with "epoll_ctl: Operation not permitted" unitl I send a SIGKILL to the

runuser: cannot set groups: Operation not permitted
Hi, We have installed apatare and running the script aptare_agent, but it is giving error "runuser: cannot set groups: Operation not permitted" if we run it as aptare user. We have made this user the part of root group. If we run the same script with root user there is no error. Any thought? ________________________________ This e-mail is the property of NaviSite, Inc. GPLPV causes "Iomem mapping not permitted ffffffffffffffff"
Hello, for two weeks I try to track down a problem where a Xen host with Windows domUs and GPLPV 0.11.0.213 suddenly hangs. During the two weeks I used a xenified kernel (2.6.31-r14) and the hang seemed to originate from the system (dom0) being unable to route interrupts anymore. Jul 6 18:27:57 virt kernel: aacraid: SCSI bus appears hung Jul 6 18:28:02 virt kernel: Calling adapter init

epoll_ctl: Operation not permitted
Hi, I'm not exactly sure that this is caused by wine. But maybe someone have already met this. I have wine 20050628 setup on Mandriva Linux 10.2. I am seeing the stream of epoll_ctl: Operation not permitted in the .xsession-errors It take about a day to fill a 10G partition I think it is connected with audio card, so I switched off the audio system in wine (I don't need it anyway),

auth(default): Error sending status request (Operation not permitted)
After upgrading to dovecot-1.0.0 from dovecot-0.99.14, I've started getting the following errors: auth(default): Error sending status request (Operation not permitted) but yet everything _seems_ to be functioning okay ... so far. This is a FC4 system, SELinux is re-configured and still generates errors with SELinux disabled. Ideas?

Xen 4.2 with xcp-xapi - operation not permitted
New build with Ubuntu 13.04 and Xen 4.2. Installed XCP-XAPI as the plan was to use XenCenter to manage the installation.
