Dovecot Solr Panic
Hello Everyone, I have a small base of users (30), but a lot of emails. I have an error again when I am indexing a virtual folder with a large number of folders. I appreciate this is a special case, but I am using dovecot and solr as it is, according to the documentation, the favourite way. One user is using a large number of archives sub folders, by years, months and subfolders, since 5 years.

I have dovecot postfix setup on my home server as well. I use a virtual server in the cloud as my mx record and mail relay and have my home record on dynamic dns. It's really effective. Hello Mike, Yes, I am using a static IP address, but in theory, you could use a dynamic one. Nothing technically would prevent email exchanges between two boxes, as long as the SPF records are up to date and the DKIM is properly setup. Unfortunately, some ISPs are simply blacklisting full range of private IP addresses just because they are not officials / commercials. Kind regards, Andr? On

sieve vacation error
Hello everybody, First, I want to thank the development team for the quality and the stability of dovecot. It's now running without problem since two years on my debian box. Next, I'd like you help me to solve the problem I have with vacation/sieve script. My configuration is debian lenny, with standard dovecot packages (1.0). I have setup the sieve plugin, using roundcube on

Accentuated email addresses stored in LDAP
Hello everyone, I have successfully set up Dovecot with an LDAP backend, and everything works like a charm, except one small use case. I know it is possible, so if anyone knows a solution, thank you! Basically, I just want to send an email to one of my email address, which contains an accent, i.e. andr?@homebox.space.... Every other alias works, but not those with accents. They are correctly

Thank you, I remember to had a look at this project, and I found it huge. I started mine because I want LDAP authentication. I also wanted less features / programs, less obtrusive, and better attention to small details, like automatic DKIM generation and DNS updates. I hope not to end up with something as huge. Andr? Re: Fwd: Haswell 4770 misidentified as Sandy Bridge
Sorry to blow up everyone's email on this but I tried something new and found a different problem. I uninstalled all the debian package (libvirt, kvm, qemu, virt-manager, etc.) and then remade all the packages and installed them. Haswell again shows up in virt-manager, but now any CPU I choose including kvm64 and qemu64 give the same error: root@mal:~# virsh create

Post login scripts environment
Dear Dovecot users, I am running Dovecot 2.2.27 on Debian Stretch, no issue so far. I wonder if there is a way to pass the remote IP address, in an environment variable, in the post login script. My Post login scripts are working well, except that when the server is accessed through a webmail (Roundcube or SOGo), the remote IP address is systematically 127.0.0.1. The other question I have is,
