Can't figure you why I am getting deliver_from == Nil Using EmailSpec
Using EmailSpec, I am testing the format of emails sent from an observer.
I can verify the deliver_to address, the bcc_to address, and that the
message body has the appropriate text.
However, when I test the deliver_from, I am getting an error saying my
deliver_from is nil, though when I follow the same steps in development, an
email is sent with the appropriate from address. This is the

Can't boot with a new install
Hi everyone,
I just finished installing FreeBSD 6 RELEASE on my Toshiba Tecra A4
laptop and the installation was fine, however, when I rebooted the
machine, I don't get the boot loader screen as if the machine can not
see my drive! I tried the reinstalling and ensured that I set the slice
to be bootable but that didn't change anything.
Not sure if this is a common issue with FreeBSD 6 on

ruby and perl
Hello Community,
is it possible to include perl scripts into a ruby view (.rhtml)?
If yes, the structure has to be /public --> /cgi-bin like in a web
application with cgi scripts?
Best regards,

Shorewall and SIP phones
Hello,
Are there general guidelines around on how to configure Shorewall for use with SIP phones ? Especially regarding (some?) Cisco SIP phones which are expecting a reply at port 5060 while sending from an arbitrary high port.
Thanks !

Postfix and Dovecot SASL
Hello all,
I am struggeling to get my Dovecot SASL to work within postfix. I have used
the configuration example listed on the main-site of dovecot and it
basically isn't giving me any success at all. I am probably missing
something easy, but after spending a few days testing and walking through
everything I could think about I thought figured it was better to ask :)
Hope someone can point me

A question on rules simplification
[newbie question]
Before using Shorewall I used to manually write some very short iptables
rules which where probably much poorer than what this Shorewall gem does
but I could "follow" them very easily.
Now reading the output of iptable -L gives me a terrible headache.
Is there some tool that graphs the rules in order to "see" them better ?
For instance I was experiencing

You have a solution that properly maps UTF to a non-UTF namespace. As I understand it, SMTPUTF8 uses a UTF8 namespace.
So, this would indicate SMTPUTF8

Sharing of Directories & assigning group permissions to directories
Hi Everyone,
This is a follow-up question on Samba. After doing rpm to reinstall the dependencies on libcups.so.2 and libssl.so.2. Samba went on fine.
My question is regarding Client machines Win98 could not log on to the samba server. This gave me an error message --> The share name was not found. Be sure you typed it correctly.
As far as I can remember I did the following on my samba box.

[LLVMdev] Web Site Re-Design
I offered to do the web site a couple of weeks ago. Life got in the
way temporarily, and it took me a long time to make it look the way
that I wanted and to make it look the same in IE6. Anyway, I wanted
to get some feedback on what I had done.
Some concerns:
1. SSI and JavaScript seem like overkill. Each subproject can have
their own look and feel by overriding the CSS

SMTPUTF8 support
Andr?, are you quite sure you have it working?
In this thread someone from Open-Xchange stated that no, Dovecot doesn?t
have SMTPUTF8 support implemented, and the same response was given by
another Dovecot developer last September (it ?is being considered? was
the answer then, see

[LLVMdev] LLVM2.2 x64 JIT trouble on VStudio build
Hola LLVMers,
I'm debugging through some strangeness that I'm seeing on X64 on windows with LLVM2.2. I had to change the code so that it would engage the x64 target machine on windows builds, but I've otherwise left LLVM 2.2 alone. The basic idea is that I've got a function bar which is compiled by VStudio and I'm creating another function foo via LLVM JIT which is going

Problem with sasl auth with postfix...
Hello list,
I'm running into some problems, and I couldn't find any info about this anywhere on the net.
I recently set up a new debian lenny machine, and used my notes from the last debian etch
machine I set up, which basically is for postfix + dovecot for sasl auth.
On my old etch box, in the dovecot.conf, in the auth default section, I have a
