[Bridge] [PATCH] bridge-utils: Add 'hairpin' port forwarding mode
This patch adds a 'hairpin' (also called 'reflective relay') mode
port configuration to the Linux Ethernet bridge utilities.
A bridge supporting hairpin forwarding mode can send frames back
out through the port the frame was received on.
Hairpin mode is required to support basic VEPA (Virtual
Ethernet Port Aggregator) capabilities.
You can find additional information on VEPA

Mail / Web server guides
Hi,
I have spent the last couple of weeks learning all about setting up CentOS
as a mailing server, web server, MySQL server (which hasn't been easy
because all of your guides are a little out of date). I have also written a
few shell scripts to automate the whole process and was wondering if my
guides would be useful to have on your wiki site.
The guides focus on a base install of Centos

[PATCH 4/6] xen: export NUMA topology in physinfo hcall
This patch modifies the physinfo hcall to export NUMA CPU and Memory
topology information. The new physinfo hcall is integrated into libxc
and xend (xm info specifically). Included in this patch is a minor
tweak to xm-test''s xm info testcase. The new fields in xm info are:
nr_nodes : 4
mem_chunks : node0:0x0000000000000000-0x0000000190000000

samba - wins? dns ? ldap?
Hello users,
I'm having the floowing problem, I just configured a new machine with
ubuntu+ ldap + samba, all conections are OK!, I've set up the users and
machines for the domain , testparm says everything is ok, but when trying to
add a windows 2000 machine on the domain I get a message that alerts a
possible problem with the dns.
I thought I forgot to configure the wins but it was there.

safenet eToken 5100 pkcs11 bug(?)
Guys, I am not able to get it run. I can not say where is the problem but it seams that the openssh client is not able to get list of rsa key from token. See two logs from pkcs11-spy. one is for "ssh -I" the second is for "pkcs11-tool -O"
In the second log there is private_key visible or offered in the first one is not.
I use openssh 6.4 version on Linux or Mac.

try.Silent
In an email to the help list John Chambers
wrote about the function helpSilent which is in the methods package,
pointing out that there is no restrictive reason to be in this package.
I did not know about this function and just incorporate it in several
functions of the geoR package where a much less elegant solution was
being used.
I guess other packages could use it as well.
Therefore,

ordinal(): [was "a handy function ..." in March..]
I'm finally cleaning up old things / todo's;
We had about half a dozen e-mails on R-devel back in mid March......
Here is my proposal, a sometimes useful utility for constructing strings
in cat() or text(), legend(), etc.:
ordinal <-
function(i, language =3D "english", gender =3D c("female","male"), sep=3D""=
) {

smbd hanging at BDC
Hi all
I have a samba pdc(master LDAP Server) with 1 BDC(slave ldap server), the
version of Samba at PDC and BDC is samba 3.0.21c. At BDC , there are some

[RFC] tegra: Initial support
Tegra K1 and later use a GPU that can be driven by the Nouveau driver.
But the GPU is a pure render node and has no display engine, hence the
scanout needs to happen on the Tegra display hardware. The GPU and the
display engine each have a separate DRM device node exposed by the
kernel.
To make the setup appear as a single device, this driver instantiates
a Nouveau screen with each instance of a

GetPrinter Level 2 does not get devmode
Hi all,
I have uploaded the printer drivers succesfully on RedHat Linux/ Samba
2.2.4 server. I can download and print without any problems. But when I do
Windows API call GetPrinter with PRINTER_INFO_2, the devmode in
printer_info is always null. My code looks like
HANDLE hPrinter=NULL;
PRINTER_DEFAULTS pDefaults;
pDefaults.DesiredAccess = PRINTER_ACCESS_USE;
