I would like to know if it is possible to set up an Asterisk system with the following capabilities: - Branch

Gem plugins on win32 mongrel_service
Hi, why are the gemplugins commented out in mongrel_service? What was the problem with them? I''m curiuos because I''ve used them without problems since the revision 338 (-win32 suffix patch, 31/08). However, my site is a small internal one, so it doesn''t mean any heavy testing. Jano

2.4.13
Hi all, I've downloaded the http://www.zip.com.au/~akpm/ext3-2.4-0.9.13-2413.gz file and want to know what to do with it once it's unzipped. Is it a patch file or is it a compiled kernel? I need an ext3 patch for kernel 2.4.13, I then need to patch kernel 2.4.13 with win4lin. TIA Robyn

gunzipping the patch...
Hi, I'm sure this is a really stupid question, but when I type in the line: gunzip < ~/ext3-***extraStuffHere***.gz | patch -p1 as in the installation guide, it tells me that the patch is not a proper gzip file. What do I do??? Also, when it says "make menuconfig", does the menuconfig file appear once the patch is ungzipped, or should it be there already? I'm kinda worried

BUG?: Assigning a Perl script as user shell + sending commands on ssh connect
Hi, This is sort of a strange issue. But I am experimenting with ways to have a user log in and be presented with a perl script to interact with. When I do either or both of the following: 1) set the user's shell to /usr/bin/myperlscript 2) specify ForceCommand /usr/bin/myperlscript, applied to my user ...I get strange behavior when a command is appended to the client connect

Puppet modifying directories by executing shell script as non-root user results in kernel-level insufficient privilege complaints
I am using Puppet 3.1.0 on a CentOS 6.3 machines. The puppet master and puppet agents use CentOS 6.3 as their OS. I have a puppet script (init.pp file for the puppet module) that contains the following exec type: exec { "postgres init": cwd => "/applications/module", command => "bash initializePostgres.sh", user => "postgres", group =>

setting up the SQLite database
I know this isn''t Python, but I''d like to get a view on the ''one obvious'' way to set up an SQLite (or other) database and its location per-app. I''ve got a bit lost with the Camping 2 changes and various code snippets I have kicking around. 1. is it best to set up the DB creation/connection: 1.1 at the end of the app

Dell R515 with PERC H700 - JBOD?
Hello, I'm curiuos if anyone knows if it's possible to set up a Dell R515 (which has PERC H700) to be JBOD. It seems the only options are RAID0 or RAID1. I read posts, where people say it can by done by making each disk its own RAID0.? This works, but it wigs out when that disk is removed, and forgets a disk was ever there (unless I go back in the PERC and fix it). My plan is to have a

unsigned and signed ?
In an earlier post I made about learning how to use speex someone nicely responded to me with a Speex Wrapper they had written.. however I am having an issue now where all I seem to hear is a ticking noise after encoding and decoding with speex. It is definitely getting proper data, as if I hit the mic somewhat I hear some extra crackling noises. Now, my code was nearly the same... but...

SMB/NMBD configuration troubles.
Folks, I am stumped! I have followed every tech tip I could find and I am still unable to complete my SMB installation. Specifically, I fail Test 4 and Tests 9 and 10. I believe the problem has something to do with the NMBD configuration. Below are the parameters of our system. Any help is greatly appreciated.
