I am using Winamp, Icecast2 Server, and Edcast. I believe I have set these up properly so that I can set up and broadcast an internet radio station. These are the links I used to help me: https://www.pcworld.com/article/190705/start_your_own_internet_radio_station_for_free.html https://www.fastserv.com/kb/article/edcast_winamp_-_easy_steps_to_streaming_to_icecast_or_shoutcast/

First, let me talk about my setup: I'm running Debian 5 (Lenny) with it's default Dovecot (common, pop3 and imap) packages (version 1:1.0.15-2.3+lenny1), I really would like to keep it

Can't get view samba 3.0 server via winXP, using domain security
I'm sure I'm probably making a common beginner mistake here somewhere, but I'm stumped. The facts: 1. Running samba 3.0.0-2 on rh 7.2. Trying to access shares on the Linux box from a WinXP box. 2. From my linux box, "smbclient //mybox/tmp" connects fine. I can see //mybox in Windows Server Manger, but not via net view or Network Neighborhood on the XP box. If I try

USB 3.0 NIC / Sitecom NL-031
Hi, I have a Sitecom NL-031 USB 3.0 NIC which I'd like to use under centos 6.5, but unfortunately I see no support. Or, I am doing something wrong. According to LKDDb (Linux Kernel Driver DataBase), the correct driver is "CONFIG_USB_NET_AX8817X: ASIX AX88xxx Based USB 2.0 Ethernet Adapters" but obviously, I've grabbed a non matching "iProduct", because mine is

Samba with 389 Directory Server Auth problem
Hi Folks, I had a crack at setting up a Samba PDC using a fresh installation of FDS 1.2.4 as the backend on one of our RHEL 5.3 servers per the Wiki Howto:Samba but ran into a few issues. In the section 'Populating FDS with PDC Entry', it instructs the user to run 'net getlocalsid'. This results in the following: [root at mybox logs]# net getlocalsid

SWAT Won't Start - Alarm Clock
Hey everyone, If anyone could help me with this problem, I'd greatly appreciate it. Whenever I try to start swat (from the command-line by invoking /usr/sbin/swat), it sits there for a very long time as if it's running, but any attempt to use telnet to the port or point my browser at it results in nothing, as if swat were just not running. Firewalling is no issue, I've disabled

Multiple Serial Port Passthrough in HVM domU
So, I made a mistake a bought four systems with the Intel Core i3 processors, without doing my homework to make sure that these systems actually supported VTd. Turns out there''s plenty of information out there indicating that the Core i3 processors do *not* support VTd. I was counting on VTd for two applications: Graphics Passthrough and passing through a PCIe 4-port serial card. Of

Shared folders and home directories
Hi, I've recently migrated a server from a Qmail/VPOPMail setup to a Postfix/system accounts setup. Everything worked pretty much out of the box after just changing the passdb and userdb to pam and passwd. However, I cannot get my shared folders to work. In the logs I will always see something like Jul 21 07:24:10 mybox dovecot: IMAP(foobar): Namespace 'shared/': Could not lookup home

Marvell, IOMMU/VT-d, and pci-phantom
Hi, guys. I''ve been trying to use the pci-phantom command line options to xen so as to work around the hardware issue with the Marvell 88SE91xx SATA controllers in IOMMU ([Intel:] VT-d) mode, but I cannot seem to get my head around it. From having had a glance here: http://xenbits.xen.org/docs/unstable/misc/xen-command-line.html and in particular the syntax described as such:
