How to view the source of code?
Hi all R mailing listers: I am using the coda package. I tried to view the source of HPDinterval code by typing fix(HPDinterval), it dispalys as follows: function (obj, prob = 0.95, ...) UseMethod("HPDinterval") Then I search the answers about this case (see below), it still failed. Thank you in advance! David > getAnywhere('HPDinterval')2 differing objects matching

NFS vs Replication
Hello list, I built an email system using a proxy / director pair (IMAP, POP3, LMTP) and a backend pair. To have an HA system, I would like to understand if it is better to use an NFS export or replication to save emails and index files NFS is provided by a NAS (in HA), while for replication I would use the local backend disks Which of the two systems is more reliable? Are there any drawbacks

bug with OutDec option and deferred_string altrep object
While implementing R's new 'altrep' functionality in the TERR engine, I discovered a bug in R's 'deferred_string' altrep object: it is not using the correct value of the 'OutDec' option when it expands a deferred_string. See the following example: R 3.5.1: (same results in R 3.6.0 devel engine built 10/5) > options(scipen=0, OutDec=".") >
