Advice for Internet facing Mailserver
Hello and good day, i have setup a Server which is directly connected to the Internet, without NAT-Router or other Firewall Appliance. I am using FreeBSD 6.2. I have pf enabled to only allow traffic on specified Ports. I am using Apache-13 + Postfix + Dovecot & mysql for my Mail-system. There is only one /home/User, which authenticates via a Key with Pass- phrase to sshd. The

About the maintenance time
I currently use it in the replica configuration of 3.10.2. The brick process may not start when restarting the storage server. Also, when using gnfs, the I / O may hang up and become unusable. After checking the release notes of 3.11.0, the following ID seems to be applicable, so please reflect it if it can be reflected in 3.10 series. Also, for items with high urgency Since 3.11.0 has just been

Robust Poisson regression
Hola! Anybody knows if there exists somewhere in R some implementation of robust Poisson regression, where robust is taken in the sense as usen in rlm(MASS). I found something in the package wle, but only for the Poisson distribution, not for regression. For the moment I try to use linear models with the square-root transformation, and rlm. Hadoop

Factanal loadings as large as 1.2 with promax -- how unusual?
I am performing a large (105 variable) factor analysis with factanal, specifying promax rotation. I kow that some loadings over 1.0 are not unsual with that rotation, but I have some as large as 1.2, which seems extreme. I am skirting the assumptions of the model by using responses on a 7-point rating scale as data; I may have to go back and compute polychoric correlations instead of product

Attacks on ssh port
Hi, Is there a security problem with ssh that I've missed??? Ik keep getting these hords of: Failed password for root from 69.242.5.195 port 39239 ssh2 with all kinds of different source addresses. They have a shot or 15 and then they are of again, but a little later on they're back and keep clogging my logs. Is there a "easy" way of getting these ip-numbers added to

New patches to Souffleur
Hello all, I am really excited to post these new patches since a lot of things have been done to the software lately. I know, I still have to write a README file but I am struggling to get a "basic" functional version out before I can concentrate efforts on documentation (I know, not the best practice). Anyway, here we go with the diffs and its comments: * MediaInfo.py.diff
