Dovecot 2.3-rc1 SMTP submission proxy always gives TLS required error even when already using TLS
First of all, I apologize for my accidental empty message earlier. I just set up the SMTP submission proxy in Dovecot 2.3, but whenever I try to connect to it, it always returns "530 5.7.0 TLS required." for any sort of AUTH or MAIL command. This occurs even if TLS is being used. It also occurs regardless of whether I connect with a real client (Thunderbird) or manually with

VuXML.org improvements
Hello Everyone, I have made a few small changes to the VuXML.org web sites, http://www.vuxml.org/freebsd/ (aka vuxml.freebsd.org) and http://www.vuxml.org/openbsd/ - Date-oriented indices (e.g. entry date index) visually group entries from the same date. - The package name index is more useful, listing individual package names. - Each package referenced in VuXML now has its own index

Have I been hacked?
I'm noticing something strange on two of my machines.. They're both 4.7-RELEASE-p3 i386 and they've both been up 150 days without any problems... /var/log/messages on each system contains only: Jun 9 12:00:01 in newsyslog[60291]: logfile turned over dmesg's output is truncated.. it periodically changes, but currently it reads: ite.net host=6532251hfc207.tampabay.rr.com

If the search action returns empty result set and the message is displayed, but later user changes searching conditions, calls search again and result set is no longer empty, the message is

Opieaccess file, is this normal?
Hi, I'm trying to setup one-time passwords on freebsd5.2.1 >From what I've read so far, if the user is present in opiekeys, the opieaccess file determines if the user (coming from a specific host or network) is allowed to use his unix password from this specific network. As my opieaccess file is empty and the default rule (as mentionned in the man file) is deny, I should not be

FW: Opieaccess file, is this normal?
Hmm, I thought using .opiealways would be the solution see: http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/bsd/2003/02/20/FreeBSD_Basics.html Or http://people.freebsd.org/~des/diary/2002.html But I can still login with the standard password even if the opieaccess file is empty. -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-security@freebsd.org [mailto:owner-freebsd-security@freebsd.org] On Behalf Of Didier
