Problem with wct4xxp - cannot make calls
Hi, I'm having problems with a TE420P card, in which I cannot make calls using spans 2 through 4. After a couple of days of working correctly, spans 2, 3 and 4 start failing (can not make calls). The system is configured to work with SS7. After the ACM message goes out, immediately a REL message is returned. I searched for error messages in /var/log/messages and could not find a clue

Weird issue with outbound calls and MOH
Hi, We have a PRI Trunk (physical E1) and we are getting some rather weird and very isolocated problems. On outbound calls to specific numbers, it would seem to me that DTMF from the remote side is affecting the local asterisk system. Basically what happens: - We make a OUTBOUND call via the PSTN (PRI Trunk) to a remote System - Remote Answers, and converse - Remote sends DTMF on their site to

Setting two E1 cards
Dear, I always had one E1 card with one span, so I've never had any problem in set it up through /etc/dahdi/sustem.conf and /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf because I put span=1. But now I have a PBX with two E1 cards with 4 span (8 span in total). How do I have to define both card in system.conf and chan_dahdi.conf, and how do I have to refer each span to the corresponding card ??? Thanks a

PRI Problem
I am having a problem with a new PRI turn-up on dahdi 2.5.0 and asterisk 1.8.5 that I have not seen before. The PRI is setup as B8ZS, ESF and the span shows up and ok. This PRI is merely a crossover T1 going into an old DC0 class 5 switch. I am getting the following errors over and over again [Aug 16 10:26:10] NOTICE[8002]: chan_dahdi.c:3043 my_handle_dchan_exception: PRI got event: HDLC Bad FCS

ISDN Cause Code 47 Errors
We fairly recently switched service providers for our 4 PRI circuits. Since that time, we started to notice some failed inbound calls. These calls terminate with an ISDN cause code 47 'resource unavailble'. Most of the time I see this error on the first or second channel on the second span in a trunk group (This is the providers trunk group for hunting, not an Asterisk trunk group). All

AES update..
I've done a decent size update of the OpenSSH portable from the upstream tree. There is an AES upgrade that needs to take place, but I need people to test and tell me what endedness changes need to be applied (if any). Attached is the patch. It is geared towards the latter snapshots..Unsure how it will patch (if at all) against 2.9pX series. Thanks. - Ben "This is dark day in

Dahdi PRI T1 Setup for TE210P
Hello, I have been struggling with the configuration of this card on my box. I have a T1 line and I am trying to setup asterisk with it. I followed all the instructions and I still see a blinking red light on the card. I use fedora 12. If everything is fine should I see a green line when I plug in the T1 line ? I want to isolate the issue so I di not start asterisk. When I run asterisk I get
