multistate survival analysis w/ time varying covariates
Hi, I've seen in the NestCohort package that one can do a hazard model with a binary outcome using covariates. I am interested in multistate hazard models with time-varying covariates, but can't seem to find this already implemented in an R package. Is this included somewhere but called something else? I feel like I've looked all over. Thanks! Michaela Gulemetova-Swan

ciclo for para gráficos

getelementptr inbounds with offset 0
Hi, >>> I see. Is there a quick answer to the questions why you need inbounds >>> GEPs in that case? Can't you just use non-inbounds GEPs if you know you >>> might not have a valid base ptr and "optimize" it to inbounds once that >>> is proven? >> >> You mean on the Rust side? We emit GEPi for field accesses and array indexing.

how a latent state matrix is updated using package R2WinBUGS
I'm trying to understand how a latent state matrix is updated by the MCMC iterations in a WinBUGS model, using the package R2WinBUGS and an example from Kery and Schaub's (2012) book, "Bayesian Population Analysis Using WinBUGS". The example I'm using is 7.3.1. from a chapter on the Cormack-Jolly-Seber model. Some excerpted code is included at the end of this message;

cannot get unix password sync = true to work
Hello Samba Users, I cannot change a user's Samba password from a Windoze client or from the Unix Samba server when "unix password sync = True". Any ideas what/where I screwed up? smbpasswd fails with unix password sync enabled
Hello again, I would like to thank Giant Wang and Miquel Bonastre for their responses to my query in "Samba Digest 1734" regarding simultaneous passwd changing for users via Samba. Their comments were helpful, but have not solved the problem. For those who do not have a back log of the Digests, the problem is that with unix password sync=yes, users are not able to change their own

Dovecot deliver with AD LDAP userdb
Good Afternoon, I have my virtual users stored in an Active Directory database. As far as mail info goes the 2 important fields are: mail (their primary email address) and otherMailbox (a multivalue attribute containing their mail aliases). Right now all email addresses belong in the same domain and there are no immediate plans to change this. If I use Postfix to do the lookups and delivery only

Jags problem
Hi, all: I met "Non-conforming parameters for function %*%" problem, when I run the Jags model in R. My model is like this: model{ for(i in 1:n){ for(j in 1:t[i]){ et[i,j]<-yt[i,j]-beta0+betax*xt[i,j]+betat*t[i,j] } for(a in 1:t[i]){ for(b in 1:t[i]){ sigma[i,a,b]<-pow(rho0,abs(t[a]-t[b])) } } phi[i]<-

Installing Jags on 64 Bit Fedora
I know this has been covered before but I have read all the posts on this subject but I still cannot resolve it. I tried to install rjags on a 64bit Fedora 17 and I got this error message Error : .onLoad failed in loadNamespace() for 'rjags', details: call: dyn.load(file, DLLpath = DLLpath, ...) error: unable to load shared object '/usr/lib64/R/library/rjags/libs/rjags.so':

JAGS/BUGS on gene expression data
Has anybody had issues running MCMC (either BUGS or JAGS) on data sets of this magnitude (ie 30k x 20-30). I've been trying to run a hierarchical random effects model on expression data but R completely stalls out on jobs run on 32bit R on our server (doesn't respond...then eventually crashes out with an exception fault). Would using 64bit R help with JAGS? (As far as I know there's

The problem is that the following a windowx with the following message appear between each model fitting inside my loop : the following objects in

JAGS 3.0 and the Ubuntu repositories: A fix for jrags users
Ubuntu R users, Early this month, version 3.0 of JAGS was released on its Sourceforge page. Dirk Eddelbuettel and I quickly rolled up packages for Debian and Ubuntu, respectively. If you are an Ubuntu user who utilizes my Launchpad PPA for your R related .deb files, JAGS was updated automatically. The downside to this is that JAGS 3.0 is not compatible with the R package rjags, also found

dgamma in WinBUGS and JAGS (rjags)
Hello, In WinBUGS 1.4 manual (http://www.mrc-bsu.cam.ac.uk/bugs/winbugs/manual14.pdf), the gamma density is presented as dgamma(r,mu) where r and mu are the shape and rate parameters, respectively. In JAGS (rjags) manual version 1.0.2, May 9, 2008 (http://www-fis.iarc.fr/~martyn/software/jags/jags_user_manual.pdf), on page 26 the gamma density is presented as dgamma(mu,r) instead of dgamma(r,mu).
