dsync Error: Mailbox INBOX: Save commit failed: Mailbox was deleted under us
Hi,
I am doing a mass migration of users from Cyrus imap on a solaris
server to dovecot 1:2.2.9-1ubuntu1 and am getting this weird issue with
dsync if I try to do a "full" sync. Debug output below:
dsync(user at example.com): Error: Mailbox INBOX: Save commit failed:

[PATCH] Add support for zstd compression
From: Sebastian Andrzej Siewior <sebastian at breakpoint.cc>
zstd compression was announced as "good compression with high
throughput" so I gave it a try. With zlib, on high speed links the CPU
is usually the bottle neck. With zstd I'm able to fill a 200Mbit link :)
zstd detection happens automatically via pkg-config. No zstd header means
no error about missing zstd. So that

Dear list,
I am having an issue like this

my current dovecot 2.2.18
Concret:
doveadm -Dv replicator replicate -p high -f info
throws an I/O Timeout error and the only thing I can see are some lock

sieve replication and .dovecot.lda-dupes
Hello list,
I have a replicated dovecot with two servers.
People seem to get vacation responses more often then it is specified in
"days: XX", depending on which dovecot instance they receive the
incoming mail. Is ".dovecot.lda-dupes" replicated?
The other problem is that the vacation response is coming from the wrong
address depending on which field the recipient was

Printer Connection - Time Sync
Hi, mailing list,
I'm running Samba 3.0.7 on a SuSE 9.2 with W2K and WXP clients.
Establishing a connection to a network printer works fine when I use the
windows explorer (right click on the printer share -> connect). The
connected printer can be used with all windows applications.
But now I want an automatic connection. So I have written a logon script
using the 'net use

Replication warnings
Hi list,
I get these warnings quite frequently.
Warning: Failed to do incremental sync for mailbox INBOX, retry with a
full sync
Is this something to worry about? Otherwise the replication works
perfectly.

child 23925 killed with signal 6
Dearest list,
just now I migrated a pine user to dovecot. Nothing special so far, but
then I saw this in my syslog and the user reported, that he got this
error message:
MAIL FOLDER "INBOX" CLOSED DUE TO ACCESS ERROR
Obviously this problem is related to his local filter rules:
If commented out everything works like a charm. The corresponding
filter rule looks for a

kde2d and borders
Hallo,
I want to use kde2d to visualize data on a sphere given in spherical
coordinates. Now the problem is, that "phi == 2*pi = 0", so in principal
I have to connect (in a graphical view) the left and right border of my
plot (and the bottom and top). Has anyone any idea how to do that ?
Thanks,
Manuel

Debian package init scripts
Dearest list,
I am using dovecot with heartbeat-2 and I noticed that the init scripts
in the Debian packages from http://xi.rename-it.nl/debian/ do not
conform to the LSB standard:
http://refspecs.freestandards.org/LSB_3.1.1/LSB-Core-generic/LSB-Core-generic/iniscrptact.html
E.g. the return code for "program is not running" is not 3.
Is there is special reason for this?
Cheers Jan

Making a share visible only to members of a group
Hi,
> I want a shared directory to be visible only to the members of a group, and

I tried to realize this by using include like: #include smb.conf.%G
But it did not work correctly. Sometimes the share was visible,
sometimes it wasnt,
and if it was visible, network path wasnt found afterwards.

substitution of two faulty servers
thanks for reply, but the problem is the number of replications, I have
replication factor 3 so what would be the best way to substitute 2
bricks? as I understood properly first I need to add the server to
gluster as a node, afterwards I need to add bricks to the volume (but if
the number of bricks is not a factor of 3 it is not possible),
or, if there is other way please drop me a hint or

Redefine NROW and NCOL to be compatible with nrow and ncol for S3 classes with own dim function?
Dear R-developers,
I am currently trying to develop a package with some customized
container classes and found an issue with the functions NROW and NCOL. I
guess that I can simply work around the problem by redefining these
functions in my own package (Yet, I do not know whether that will work
cleanly everywhere). Nevertheless, I thought that perhaps one might
think about to redefine these
