Dovecot upgrade from 1.0.7-7.el5 to 1.2.4 ?
I am currently using dovecot 1.0.7-7.el5 on 32bit centos.
Plan is to upgrade to 1.2.4 using http://atrpms.net/dist/el5/dovecot/ rpms.
My config is very minimal:

ssl_key_file = /etc/pki/tls/private/server.key
ssl_cipher_list = HIGH:MEDIUM:+TLSv1:!SSLv2:+SSLv3

[Asterisk-Dev] 1.0.7 Release Candidate
Hey everyone,
I posted bug #3746 for people to report on the latest code in the stable
branch. Once I get enough reports that it is working fine, we will
release 1.0.7.
Thanks,
Russell Bryant

Installation of Asterisk addons 1.0.7 fails (longish)
Good morning!
Sorry if this gets posted twice, I tried via NNTP before, and it didn't
seem to work.
After having downloaded the tarball for Asterisk addons via FTP from
ftp.asterisk.org I am trying to install it following the instructions on
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+addon+asterisk-addons, so far
without success.
Could somebody maybe advise where I am taking the wrong path?

Compiling asterisk-addons-1.0.7 on Debian Sarge with asterisk-packages installed
Hi!
I'm using Debian Sarge with the asterisk-packages (1.0.7) installed. I
want to use the cdr_addon_mysql, but there is no DEB. So I tried to
compile it, but w/o success. I get an error of a missing asterisk.h. I
searched for that file on my system , but it is non-existent, although I
installed asterisk-dev. Is there something which I still have to install
or do I have to compile the

include not working in bristuffed Asterisk 1.0.7 extensions.conf
Hi,
I've upgraded my Asterisk to 1.0.7version patched with bristuff 0.2.0-RC8c.
I'm using the same extensions.conf but it seems now include instruction
doesn't want to work, here follows an extract:

exten => _X.,1,Answer
exten => _X.,2,Wait(1)

Queue Statistics on 1.0.7
I'm running v1.0.7 on Gentoo. When I execute show queue {queue_name}
it ALWAYS shows zeros (0) for all the statistics, when in fact, there
have been calls and there should be some statistics available about
the queue performance. Any clues as to why this may be happening?
Thanks,
Waldo

How to: recompile asterisk 1.0.7 beta 3
I was wondering how I can add/extend the os x 1.0.7 beta build of
Asterisk with additional modules?
Asterisk is installed and running great but I was hoping to install a
Fax Detenction module by Newman Technologies. Below is a list of
the installation instructions.
I understand I need to recompile the application but it's not clear
to me what I would need to do with regards to the

1.0.9 - can't get link up, 1.0.7 works fine.
Last tuesday I moved the asterisk server from 1.0.7 to 1.0.9, while
leaving the zaptel drivers at 1.0.7 because it was a "lunchtime"
update. This is a box with two TE405Ps in it, and all eight ports
in use.
Today I unloaded the 1.0.7 drivers and replaced them with 1.0.9 and
oh boy... two of the 8 PRIs didn't want to come back, I got a million
of FCS errors over the console and I got

Asterisk 1.0.7 won't run after upgrade to FC4
I just upgraded to Fedora Core 4 and Asterisk won't run any more. When
launching asterisk, I get "asterisk: error while loading shared
libraries: libssl.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory".
A quick search ("find / -name libssl.so.4") for the file shows the file
nowhere on my system. However, when I "yum provides libssl.so.4", yum

G711u sound quality decrease with upgrade from 1.0.7 to CVS-HEAD?
Hi,
I was running asterisk 1.0.7 but we've upgraded now to CVS-HEAD.
I've noticed this.. and several people have commented that audio
quality seems to have gone down hill. Just going
phone-->asterisk-->PRI. I've not changed the configuration files
during the upgrade.
sip.conf is:
allow=ulaw
allow=ilbc
allow=g726
allow=g729
allow=g723.1
And all the phones had been using
