pvresize on a cLVM
Hi,
I'm needing to expand a LUN on my EMC CX4-120 SAN. (Well I already had done it).
On this LUN I had a PV of a cLVM VG. Know I need to run pvresize on it.
Has anybody done this on a cLVM PV ?
I'm trying to rescan the devices, but I can't "see" the new size. And,
googling on it I can only find RHEL5.2 responses.
Thanks in advance,

Hello,
We had a CentOS5 server with Eclipse on it, one of our programmers
tried to update the Eclipse install (within eclipse) and after a problem
on the update it stop working.
I tried removing the Eclipse RPMs and eclipse directories, and
reinstalling it with yum. Now we had this error, on $HOME/workspace/.metadata/.log:

EMC CX4 Clariion
Hi,
We had received a new EMC storage (Clariion CX4) and the EMC analist has
told us that CentOS aren't on their support list, but RHEL are :)
Well anybody on the list has a CentOS host talking (iSCSI) with an EMC storage,
preferably using the EMC Powerpath software, and can talk about you experience?
Or I will need to buy some REHL licenses ?
I'll put my hands on it only next

Help with routing question.
Hi James,
Simply remove the GATEWAY line from the eth0:192 interface config :D
Then you'll had only one default gateway. And the source IP to all unknown address
will be the routeable one.
Att.,
Antonio.

Virtualization Options!
Hi,
I'm searching for "virtualization options". I already take a look on
VMware, but it needs too much MS software to work for my needs. Citrix needs
less, but the key validation is still MS-AD.
Now I'm taking a look at RHEV... and run into Oracle VM! Somebody had already
take a look at Oracle VM?
We need in primary a solid VM solution for an "enterprise

Hi,
After upgrade the nodes on one of my HA clusters I find that "crm" isn't

fail2ban logrotate failure
I got the fail2ban from epel.
There were a number of issues relating to using a log file...
logwatch was looking for both fail2ban and fail2ban.log
logrotate file fail2ban added looked for fail2ban.log and then reset
itself to syslog
fail2ban itself went to syslog, over riding its fail2ban.log.
took a while, but I use /var/log/fail2ban now, that finally worked
through logrotates and logwatch.
