Not-So-Newbie Openssl Question
Hi all and TIA for any help, I find myself in an imposed quandry. I am using cPanel on 4.11-RELEASE-p13 boxes. 99% of the system works well, but I've come across an issue with ssl. It's caused my certs to suddenly crap out and SSL connections from payment processors no longer work (making my customers a tad angry) The base system has openssl-0.9.7d and the ports are linked against

Hi again timur
I am completely frustrated at this point. The following is not meant against you personally, but I'm the ONLY I.T. person for 100 users in 6 different offices, and I don't know what to do at this point but beg. I finally figured out what Heimdal is, and I believe is the main problem. Installed 5.2.1 on a machine. Installed krb5 from ports. Changed make.conf adding

Is the server portion of freebsd-update open source?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm wondering if/where I can get the server side component for freebsd-update. Presumably such a component would build and sign the binary patches and prepare them to be served via HTTP to the freebsd-update client. I need a system for distributing binary updates to a collection of customized FreeBSD machines, jails, and embedded systems.

Print Job Notification
Can anyone suggest a way to have a notification after a print job has completed. I currently have this as my print command: lpr -r -P%p %s; csh -c 'echo \"%J has started printing on %S\" | /usr/bin/smbclient -U %L -M %m -I %I' & It kind of does what I want, but notice that the message says that "Job has STARTED printing on Printer". This is because with this

install-strip issue
>From 2.6.2's Makefile: install: all ... ${INSTALLCMD} ${STRIP} -m 755 rsync$(EXEEXT) ${DESTDIR}${bindir} ... install-strip: $(MAKE) STRIP='-s' install This doesn't work (at least) on OpenBSD, because install(1) there will use the value of the environment variable STRIP as the command to run for stripping the executable. Renaming the variable will take care of this. ---

[LLVMdev] rpath'd binaries
Hello! I noticed that the binaries of all llvm tools contain an rpath to $OBJDIR/Release/bin. I just only learned about rpaths, but the way I understand them this would only make sense if that path would contain shared libraries, which it doesn't. Especially it makes no sense if I install the binaries and delete the build directory (where it potentially even leaves a security issue behind).

<<< MEETME_AGI_BACKGROUND inside MEET ME>>>
Howdie: I've been reading some old threads and still have a couple of questions about applying the AGI_BACKGROUND script inside a Conference. Perhaps someone can save me a bit of fidd'lin. Am I right in assuming that the MEETME_AGI_BACKGROUND script **WILL WORK** on SIP conferenced channels **WITHOUT** an **ACTIVE** zap channel-- AS LONG AS THERE IS A DIGIUM CARD INSTALLED IN THE

<<< AGI and EXEC function CONFIRMATION >>>
Howdie- Can anyone please confirm that the BACKGROUND application does ***NOT*** return IMMEDIATELY when called from within an AGI EXEC command? It seems that EXEC waits until DTMF or THE END OF THE AUDIO FILE to return to the AGI script. This essentially prevents repeated calls to BACKGROUND (or I assume any other asterisk dialplan application) from within an AGI, and prevents

[LLVMdev] Linux x86 testers needed!
All, We are in desperate need of linux x86 testers (32 or 64 bit). If you could set one up, the LLVM project would be very grateful. Right now we have virtually no testers covering this platform. Directions to set up a tester are here: http://llvm.org/docs/TestingGuide.html#nightly These directions could be improved of course. If you have any questions, I will be happy to assist you in

Windows 95
I am having a problem with some Windows 95 PC's . I had Samba 2.0.5 installed on a Sun system with Solaris 6, and a local network of PC's with W95 and W98, and everything was working fine. I then installed a new server with Solaris 8, and changed the IP addresses on the network, and the W98 PC was fine as was one of the W95 PC's, but 2 W95Pc's cannot see the Samba share, if I do
