mixed model question
I am trying to fit a linear mixed model of the form
y_ij = X_ij \beta + delta_i + e_ij
where e_ij ~N(0,s^2_ij) with s_ij known
and delta_i~N(0,tau^2)
I looked at the ecme routine in package:pan, but this routine
does not allow for different Vi (variance covariance matrix of
the e_i vector) matrices for each cluster.
Is there an easy way to fit this model in R or should I bite the

3.73 crashes FreeDOS in VMWare - 3.72 works fine
With the same configuration an ISOLINUX CD which boots a FreeDOS Floppy
image via MEMDISK Syslinux-3.73 crashes in VMWare and also on several
newer boxes just after the kernel loading with "invalid OPCODE ...".
Same CD with Syslinux-3.72 is working fine. Build environment for 3.72
was gcc-4.3.2 for 3.73 gcc-4.3.3 - any idea what can cause the troubles?

PRI worked fine for months, nowit stopps working after 2-3 hours
Hello,
I wanted to relaunch my problem with a quite precise and small question.
Could the command "lsusb" affect interrupts when executing it regularly
(cron) and if the zaptel pci card is sharing an interrupt with a usb
bus?
I have a Digium PRI card and a few Xorcom USB Devices. The Digium card
seems to share the IRQ with some USB bus.

Nokai E60 and E61 , working fine with Asterisk , with new access points
Hi
Was able to communicate clearly with e60 and E61
with asterisk with new access point , even though the
access point security setting was of ?opennetworks? ,
the previous one was of ?WEP? , I feel this was a
major hurdle in communication , now I can clearly
accept and make calls using Nokia E60 and E61
devices
Next I will be trying to find out how to
make this device work

tinc works fine on MacOS 10.5
Just for the record, I'd like to report that tinc works just find on MacOS 10.5.
I built lzo2 from macports.org, installed the tun/tap driver from
http://www-user.rhrk.uni-kl.de/~nissler/tuntap/, and compiled tinc
myself. The only confusing part was figuring out the tinc-up bits to
make everything happy on MacOS. Here's the trick:

magic-script fine, but how
Hi all,
I want to start a linux-script on a samba-networkserver from a win95-client.
I was kindly advised, to use the parameter magic script in smb.conf.
The listing below shows a share-section of my smb.conf. I tried the same
parameters in the global section as well.
When I open the file:
magic script = /usr/local/samba/netzwerk/magic-linux/script
and type:

[LLVMdev] GNU LLD build error? Seems that Clang likes LLD just fine.

I didn’t even look at your errors, but my understanding is that -std=gnu++11 is more used (and much better tested) than -std=c++11. Any chance that fixes it for you?

[LLVMdev] GNU LLD build error? Seems that Clang likes LLD just fine.
Yup, I can confirm that. Then the question is if LLD shouldn't compile
with GNU, even if GNU is buggy. Personally, I think it is worth a lot to
be able to build with GCC, but I don't know how the LLD developers feel
about that.
