How do I define the method for gcheckboxgroup in gWidgets?
Hi All... I?m trying to build a small demo using gWidgets which permits interactive scaling and selection among different things to plot. I can get the widgets for scaling to work just fine. I am using gcheckboxgroup to make the (possibly multiple) selections. However, I can?t seem to figure out how to properly define the gcheckboxgroup; I can draw the widget properly, I think my handler would

RGtk2 / gWidgets - addHandlerClicked Problem
In The following code, the table handler is executed twice when the button is pressed (from the 2nd pressing on). I want it to be executed only once. gWidgets process management
Hello, I'm trying to make a graphical interface for an R function I've written. A common use for the function is to call it with specific parameters, and then watch the output as it evolves. There's not necessarily a logical stopping point, so I usually use ctrl-C when I'm done to stop it. I've made a gWidgets interface to the function that gets some user info and then on a

gWidgets (tcltk): problem extracting values from widgets in glayout grid
Hello, I haven't been able to find an example for the second case below -- or perhaps I didn't recognize it when I saw it. Is there a value for x such that svalue(x) will return "bbb", either by itself or as part of an array? Or do I need to do something else entirely? [R-pkg] New packages pmg, gWidgets, gWidgetsRGtk2

gWidgets: how to remove that is box drawn when moving the mouse with pressed button
Hi, how can I omit the box drawn from the starting position to the current position of the mouse when clicking and it over a GTK graphics object? I have seen that in the 'playwith' package the box changes to an arrow when using the 'pan' button. But I do not find the corresponding line in the code to implement that. library(gWidgets)

Building an R GUI using gWidgets and RGtk2
Hello, I'm developing a GUI in R that will be used to monitor financial portfolio performance. The GUI will be distributed as an R package. So far, I've decided to use the "cairoDevice", "RGtk2", "gWidgets", and "gWidgetsRGtk2" packages to develop the GUI. I am trying to decide what would be the best way to structure the GUI would be. Problema gWidgets & XLConnect
Hola. Package Updater problems
Hello! I'm afraid that I don't understand redhat's bugzilla -- there's an approx 10-character wide box for reporting the bug and it always claims that that's not a bug. I'm sure I'm missing something. Anyway, here's the problems: Using Centos 5.2 and the "Software Updater/Package Updater/pup", I winnowed the problem updates down to six packages:

When calling external C-function repeatedly I get different results; can't figure out why..
Dear all, I need to calculate tr(xyxy) fast for matrices x and y. Inspired by the R-source code, I've created the following functions (I am *new* to writing external C-functions, so feel free to laugh at my code - or, perhaps, suggest changes): #include <Rinternals.h> #include <R_ext/Applic.h> /* for dgemm */ static void matprod(double *x, int nrx, int ncx, double *y, int

Not an expert in programming either, but to me it seems like you've forgotten to initialize the variable "tr". It just picks up garbage from allocated memory previously initialized by other processes. gWidgets / RGtk2 - how to change a handler from a toolbar?
I want to assign a default handler to a toolbar button and change the handler later. The addhandlerclicked() method does not apply to a gAction Object, I think... defHandler <- function(h, ...) print("default") w <- gwindow() aTest <- gaction(label="Test", icon="open", handler=defHandler) tblList = list( test = aTest ) toolBar = gtoolbar(tblList,

Possible bug?
I had some problems with apache, and there were so many, (caused by removing ispconfig) I decided to just remove and re-install. This is what happened when I tried to do so, both from remote and via console. I tried the DVD as well as yum, and got essentially the same thing. My webserver is down, and I'd sure like to get this fixed if anyone can help out. Begin errors: Component:
