R crashes using pdf() windows() or postscript()

Unfortunately R crashes while making these plots and Windows pops up some message that I run low on virtual memory. Adding units to levelplot's colorkey
How to add units (e.g. "cm") to the color key of a lattice levelplot? The plots looks fantastic, but it would be nice to indicate somewhere near the end of the color key that the values associated with its colors are in centimeters or some other physical units. How do I change plot colors in bwplot
Hello, I'm using bwplot to make a few plots. The plots are exactly what I need, but are coming out with a grey background and turquoise boxes and whiskers. how to make point character thicker in xyplot?
Is there anyway to make plotting point character being thicker in xyplot? I mean not larger which can achieved by "cex=2", but thicker. I tried lwd=2, but it didn't work. I know "lwd" works in regular plot() not only for lines, but also for points. For example plot(1:10, lwd=2) Thanks John
