Hi
I have a supermicro server, motherboard is with C612 chipset and beside
that with LSI3108 raid controller integrated.
Two Intel SSD DC S3710 200GB.
OS: Centos 7.1 up to date.
My problem is that the Intel SSD Data Center Tool (ISDCT) does not
recognize the SSD drives when they connected to the standard S-ATA ports
on the motherboard, but through the LSI raid controller is working.

What is Intel SSD Data Center Tool (ISDCT) ? Does Linux kernel detect disk
on sata ports?
Supported usually means that they have tested it and they can say that it
works.. Many of hardware still works as linux kernel support
lots of drivers -- even they are not officially supported by vendor.

Gateway question
Hi
There is a Centos 7 up-to-date box with 2 interfaces, let's say
192.168.1.12 - enp2s0, 192.168.1.13 on enp3s0. Default gateway on enp2s0.
The gateway is pfsense, IP is 192.168.1.1 with 2 WAN connections
On the gateway the outgoing traffic is routed by source ip to different
WAN, 192.168.1.12 to WAN1 and 192.168.1.13 to WAN2
On the centos box are set all the route and routing rules:

Gateway question
Hi,
You can define your default gateway in "/etc/sysconfig/network" file,
GATEWAY="192.168.1.1"
After that, restart network services.
# systemctl restart network

IP range
Hi all
Can someone explain me this:
ifcfg-eth0-range1:
ONBOOT="yes"
IPADDR_START="192.168.1.48"
IPADDR_END="192.168.1.55"
CLONENUM_START="1"
Why Bcast is 192.168.1.51 and why Mask is 255.255.255.252 ?
OS: Centos 6.3/64bit
Thanks

[PATCH] backlight: Avoid double fbcon backlight handling
Backlights controlled by i915.ko and only associated with its connectors
and also only associated with the intel_drmfb fbcon, controlled by
i915.ko. In this situation, we already handle adjusting the backlight
when the fbcon is blanked/unblanked and do not require backlight trying
to do the same.
Attempting to register with the fbdev as a client causes lockdep to warn

I think everyone focused on your problem with the vendor, who didn't
support your OS, and ignored the fact that the tool worked when the
drives were connected to a secondary controller. The OS never caused a
problem for the tool, only for the

Virtual users and domains stored in sql database.
Thats what I want:
mail_location = maildir:/var/vmail/%d/%n/Maildir
to
mail_location = mdbox:/var/vmail/%d/%n/mdbox
Thanks

Prog running in Wine OK but needs Alt+F10 to maximise.
Hi
I've got 'WriteOutloud' (talking wordprocessor for dyslexic children) working pretty well on an Asus Eeepc (Xandros) and on an Acer Aspire One (Kuki Linux) I'm using Wine 1.0.1 on both machines. What happens is that the prog starts up normally then immediately minimises to the taskbar. To make it run fullscreen you have to click on it and press Alt+F10

netbook screen suddenly goes black
Hi all!
I'm running an up to date Centos-7 on my Acer Aspire One netbook. have
been for, well, ever since C7 was released.
Just had an event today that also happened 2 or 3 times with earlier
systems installed, but I never pursued it.
What happens is that suddenly while working away on the desktop the
display suddenly goes black... not black as in turned off, I can see
that the backlight is
