[cfe-dev] GitHub anyone?
My company is using submodules for the better or worse. It's not a perfect solution but it can work when using a version of git recent enough and some tooling. The magic command to update everything to the current commit pointed by each submodule : git submodules update --init --recursive To get the latest version you can do: git submodules --init --recursive --remote This by default will get

CAA records using PowerDNS from EPEL
PowerDNS supports CAA records beginning with version 4.0, but the pdns package in EPEL for most recent centos versions is stuck at around version 3.4 (3.4.11 is what I have). Do I have no other choice but to manually compile and maintain my own pdns installation? I prefer to avoid this but I need up-to-date features. Perhaps there is a PowerDNS specific work-around? Maybe the EPEL

RFC: [LV] any objections in moving isLegalMasked* check from Legal to CostModel? (Cleaning up LoopVectorizationLegality)
Thanks, Hal. I plan to post a patch w/o HW Legality early bailout first. That should enable further discussion on where the initial very high cost for "illegal masked load/store/gather/scatter" should be coming from --- like should LoopVectorize provide it? Or should it be provided by TTI? I prefer the latter (TTI) but the first revision of the patch will intentionally do the former

OSX 10.6 Clients on a 3.4.11 Server
Hello, I'm running Samba 3.4.11 on CentOS 5.2.. I Have some users at my company that have recently upgraded their macs to Snow Leopard 10.6.6 and are running in to some SMB issues. When they mount a share they can move, delete, copy folders just fine. If they open and close a file in one of those folders though, they cannot rename, delete, or move the folder because samba has it locked and

nouveau Macbook EDID fix upstreaming...
It looks like Ryan's Nouveau patch [1,2] to get the I2C working for EDID (thus modelines) is crucial for avoiding the Nvidia binary drivers on MacbookPro 2012s. Any plans/chance for it to be upstreamed to eg 3.6-rc3? Many thanks, Daniel --- [1] diff -urNp a/drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nouveau_bios.c b/drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nouveau_bios.c --- a/drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nouveau_bios.c
