The forward lookup zone is still working correctly and do ddns updates for my win7 Client. Hello, I stumbled upon weird error/bug. My setup: 4.8.3 AD on centos 7.5 (compiled from source). BIND as dns running on AD DC with secure dns updates setup and working. Most of the DNS updates are dynamic, some added manually using windows DNS manager. One of the PTR entries in reverse lookup zone went missing. Just check, yes all my pc's ( dhcp and static ) are owner of the DNS records. NTDOM\COMPUTERNAME$ is set on the record and every pc its own record. ! one thing, i do use Bind9_dlz with samba and not internal DNS. I forgot if i mentioned it before or not.
