B410p, Ast1.4, France Télecom Numeris Double T0 problem
Hi. When I call my RNIS numbers (with a mobile phone for example), I can see 2 incoming calls on the IPBX, which should not happend. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the telco France Telecom and their ISDN setup, or if it's a problem with the MISDN driver on the IPBX itself. I'm stuck ... Any advices for troubleshooting that? Someone provide working configuration files

[PATCH] Support for Ambisonics
Hi Drew, Sorry for the delay. FYI the patch that you attached is not your latest version. This thread that you replied to is an older thread; the latest version is on a different thread. The patch does not use the mapping family numbers used by libopus and libopusenc; could you update it to use family 2 and 3 rather than 254 and 253? The patch also appears to break encoding of surround files

FXO and groups
Hi. I have just added two FXO cards in my PC: - Zap/1 is my France Telecom telephone line - Zap/2 is my Free telephone line (Free is an ADSL provider which provides an additional line using VOIP, but this line is only accessible as an FXS, no way to use it directly in H.323 or SIP) In incoming mode, those two lines ring different extensions in my phone installation. In outgoing mode,

Hi all, I am building an Asterisk PBX with voicemail and music on hold functions. An ISDN BRI line will also be available and G.729 IP-phones will be used. Are there patents rights applicable to France? Which licence could I use and how many ones are required (only one per phone or also for voicemail and MOH)? Overload Point for OPUS
Hello, Can you please tell me what the overload point is for OPUS in dBm0 or dBV? As an example, the G.711 A law codec has an overload point of +3.14 dBm0 across a 600 ohm circuit. In ITU-T G.100.1 section 5.8 you can read more about the relationship between dBm0 and dBov. In that same section you can see that the G.711 A law, u law, and G.722 codec overload points are also defined.

Asterisk (or generic telecom) Stencil's for Visio 2003
Hello Everyone! In planning for my new asterisk environment, I would like to have some nice presentation graphics for "breaking down" the system to management here where I work. I like to use Visio for these kinds of things, and was wondering if anyone had a good source for Visio stencils that fit into a telecom plan. There was a set from Cisco, and it'll probably be 'good

Telecom Best Practices
OK. I'm getting out the fireproof suit because it's coming and my hackles have been raised by a number of comments on the list of late. Disclaimer: No disrespect intended to the individuals of any *specific* thread. I'm a little frustrated over energy wasted on pedantic top/bottom posting crap rather than understanding the technology and industry best-practices which have been

Which SIP transport from France and termination services in the Nederlands
Hi, This question is both technical and business related. I've got a prospective customer in France which belongs to Hotel industry. He has a lot of visitors coming from the Nederlands. I'm studying the opportunity to offer phone services to those visitors. The service I'm thinking about is plain local call termination : hotel guests cost effectively call their relatives in their
