similar to: 3Com 3101SP phone on Asterisk?

Greetings, We are looking at installing a VoIP system with Asterisk and are currently looking at the line of 3Com phones. Has anybody had success with using the following phones? We need to buy a lot and we don't want to end up with phones that don't work properly with asterisk. 3Com 3101 (model with speakerphone) 3Com 3102 Business Phone 3Com 3103 Manager Phone 3Com 3105

Hi, I'm new to the post and am looking at ways to see how i can get Asterisk into my office for VOIP integration and also as backup PBX system. So I want to know if Asterisk works with 3COM 1102 phones. This will turn out to be a key decision point. Any help is greatly appreciated. regards KIRAN

Greetings! We are using cisco 7940 phone with SIP and asterisk. We would like to be able to have phone directories available on the phones that are sourced from active directory. Are their any scripts that can connect to the AD server via LDAP and then create the directory.html file for the phones? Thanks! Does anybody know if the 3com NBX 100 phones will work with Asterisk? The phones require a boot image to be sent either through layer2 or layer3 before they will function properly after being powered on each time. Thanks.

How would/do vendor specific phones like cisco 7900's and 3Com VCX 3100 series phones work SIP to SIP if they download the protocol from the Vendor call centers?
