Power Law Exponents
I am having difficulty with the calculation of the power law exponent
for set of nodes within a graph.
Specifically, I am interested in the distribution of in-degree and
out-degree among communities of web pages where the web pages are the
nodes of the graph and the hyperlinks the edges.
According to the literature, the distribution of incoming and outgoing
links obeys a power law distribution

I am trying to use the lnam autocorrelation model from the SNA package. I have it running for smaller adjacency matrices (<1,500) it works just fine but when my matrices are bigger 4000+. I get the error:

The following is an extract of a mail message sent in repsonse to a bug report.
The reply to that bug report was bounced. This has been directed to the mail

mboost partial contribution plots
Just having read the nice review article on boosting in the latest
"Statistical Science", I would love to reproduce some of the plots inside
that article, but it is not clear to me how to create the partial
contribution plots for the Poisson regression.
Does anyone have example code for this ?
(The vignette does not offer it, I think)
Thanks !

[LLVMdev] BuildBot contribution for Open Solaris
Hello LLVM devs,
I would like to contribute an x86 64-bit OpenSolaris 2009.06 buildbot
to the project, at least for LLVM but Clang would be great too if
that's possible. If someone would provide me with a password and the
necessary configuration, I'll get that taken care of.
Best, Erich

It is based on existing approach implemented in sectok and OpenSC support.
It means it supports private key stored on PKCS#11 device.
I have developed it on Linux platform and tested on Windows using Cygwin and
after some minor code cealn-up I'm ready to post a patch.

OK. time to make some contribution (centos4/ppc)
Hi,
Even now someone is actually installing (i see that from the ftp-server
logs) the centos-4/ppc beta-version from announced place.
You people have to stand up and _TELL_ me what kind of hardware _IS_
working, so we would know more than already know - 43p works.
I can't believe that all those, who installs, does have 43p too?
Please? Something, so if it's actually working on

Wiki Contribution Request
Dear to whom it may concern:
My name is Matthew Bowman (Wiki username MatthewBowman) and I would like
to contribute a few HowTos which I feel others may benefit from. I've
recently setup numerous highly available services (using Heartbeat +
DRBD) in chroot jails (I'm paranoid) and feel that many other users out
there could benfit from my efforts.
I was thinking I could setup one
