Anyone on the list using and Android tablet with a voip service as their
primary phone device? Either with wired or Bluetooth headset?
What are you using hardware/software.
What are your thoughts?
Cheers,

[PATCH] Bluetooth support.
This is just the first part -- it adds support for correctly reporting
incoming connections when there's an external d?mon accepting the
connections and invoking 'sshd -i' with them, like inetd does.
In later patches I'll extend sshd to listen on a Bluetooth socket (and
advertise the service in SDP) for itself, and extend the ssh client to
make the connection directly. For now,

Sending files from mobile to CentOS via Bluetooth
Has anyone here managed to send files from a mobile phone to a CentOS
system via Bluetooth? I'm trying with a Samsung E1310, using the GNOME
tools, but can't get it to work. I can send files from the Linux box to
this phone using the Nautilus bluetooth plugin
(nautilus-sendto-bluetooth), and have also managed to "pull" some data
I've been trying to send, via

Gnome Bluetooth Manager
I installed: gnome-bluetooth.i386 0.7.0-10.2.el5 from the base repo
It also installed (at least): gnome-bluetooth-libs.i386 0.7.0-10.2.el5
These show up in /var/log/yum.log
interestingly they do not show up in /var/log/rpmpkgs
My bluetooth mouse is now working. It was not before.
But I do not see any bluetooth management stuff in gnome
(http://live.gnome.org/BluetoothManager)

Bluetooth headset in handsfree modewith SJPhoneor X-lite
Hi,
You need to have completely replaced the Microsoft driver, because it
doesn't support the headset or ctp Bluetooth profiles. This gave me
fits! I followed the instructions at
http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2005/07/05/bluetooth.html
and it works with both a Plantronics and a Motorola Headset, and I can
answer calls with idefisk, eyebeam, x-lite, and kapanga.

Intel Bluetooth problems - "Invalid request code (56)" - on CentOS 6.9
Hi,
I have Lenovo laptop with an Intel wireless and Bluetooth adapter,
running CentOS 6.9. The wireless works just fine, but I can't seem to
get Bluetooth to work. When I try to force it up from the command line I get
# hciconfig hci0 up
Can't init device hci0: Invalid request code (56)
There is also a similar message message in /var/log/messages from
start-up on boot. The device

RE: Bluetooth discussions (quick glance to some BT products)
There are somes products available claiming to connect a BT headset,
a cell phone and a phone land line all together.
I've found some :
http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=2079
http://www.clipcomm.co.kr/
The clipcomm BS-A101 sample price is : $570. It's VoIP land phone
that can make/receive a voice call using your CTP cell phone or
BT-enabled headset.
Maybe the best system

Limiting what devices can pair over Bluetooth?
I've managed to get a Wacom Intuos Pro 2 (PTH-660) tablet working over
Bluetooth to a CentOS 7 install. Well, I didn't actually have to do much
to get it working ...
However, we don't normally enable Bluetooth for security reasons, so I
need to be able to configure things so Bluetooth can _only_ be used to
pair with Wacom tablets
As I never used Bluetooth in anger before, I'm

Bluetooth headset in handsfree modewith SJPhoneorX-lite
I am able to pickup, hangup, and flash, using the buttons on the phone
with all of the soft clients and both of the headsets I mentioned below.
I don't believe I had to change anything on the client side, just had to
get the ctp (cordless telephone profile) working in the bluetooth stack,
which was a pita. I struggled with the same issue...I could use the
headset, but that's not very handy

I guess porting libshout to android is sufficient to resolve the problem ?
We solve temporary by using the 3G connection with USB from the

wine and bluetooth
Hi,
I've got an application that relies on bluetooth and although the
bluetooth can see the device I want to pair with linux doesn't offer
any way of doing this but just says that it will try to pair once a
service requests this.. the application is windows and I'm starting to
suspect that the problem isn't in the bluetooth or linux but something
in wine that isn't requesting

Serial Connection through Bluetooth
I'm on a mac, and I'm trying to get a series of complicated things to work. Yay! I've got an iRobot Create with BAM (Bluetooth Adapter Module), and I'm trying to get RealTerm, which is a serial Terminal, to not only send serial commands from the wine emulation to my real system, but to get those serial commands to be sent over bluetooth to a specific device, and have the input
