RweaveHTML (R2HTML) Help
I have found Sweave() to be great for producing PDF documents. I have
been experimenting with RweaveHTML (from the R2HTML) package and have
had moderate success. My main issue has been that I simply want the R
output to be shown verbatim in the HTML document but RweaveHTML tends to
convert most output to a table, for example. So, is there a way to
force the RweaveHTML driver to simply provide

HTML nsmall vector format problem
Hello All
I am having a bit of trouble formatting my HTML with the desired number
of digits after the decimal place. Am I doing something
wrong/misunderstanding or is it a bug?
Looking at the example supplied with ?HTML.data.frame:
HTML(iris[1:2,1:2],nsmall=c(3,1),file="")
Gives html output that includes the lines:
</tr> <tr><td

odfWeave: Some questions about potential formatting options
Hello All,
Learning to use the odfWeave package. I really like the package. It has good documentation, makes some very nice looking tables, and seems to have lots of options for customizing output.
There are a few things I'd like to do that don't seem to be covered in the documentation though. So I'm not sure if they're possible or not.
Here's a list of some things I'd

Asking, are simple effects different from 0
Hello, R-i-zens. I'm working on an data set with a factorial ANOVA
that has a significant interaction. I'm interested in seeing whether
the simple effects are different from 0, and I'm pondering how to do
this. So, I have
my.anova<-lm(response ~ trtA*trtB)
The output for which gives me a number of coefficients and whether
they are different from 0. However, I want the

Repeated Measures/Linear Mixed Effects function
I have three columns of data, Xc, Trt and fish. This was a repeated
measures design with 6 measurements taken from each of 5 fish. Xc is the
actual measurement, Trt is the treatment, and fish is the fish number. Data
can be seen below (hopefully it is in the column format). I would like to
look for differences between treatments in a repeated measures format. I

Adding new column variable to a existing spreadsheet
Hi,
I've got a csv format of file. There are seven columns of variables all
together, and I've used the diff() function to take the differences between
the variables in one column. Now I want to add the differences as the 8th
column variable to the csv file. Is there any way that I can do this?
Thanks in advance.

How to get the P-values from GLM results?
Hello all,
I have a question concerning how to get the P-value for a explanatory
variables based on GLM.
I'll run multiple regressions with GLM, and I'll need the P-value for the
same explanatory variable from these multiple GLM results.
I check the help and there are quite a few Value options but I just can
not find anyone about the p-value.
Could anyone help me with that?

how to delete specific rows in a data frame where the first column matches any string from a list
Hi,
I'm new in the mailing list but I would appreciate if you could help
me with this:
I have a big matrix from where I need to delete specific rows. The
second entry on these rows to delete should match any string within a
list (other file with just one column).
Thank you so much!

glht with a glm using a Gamma distribution
Quick question about the usage of glht. I'm working with a data set
from an experiment where the response is bounded at 0 whose variance
increases with the mean, and is continuous. A Gamma error
distribution with a log link seemed like the logical choice, and so
I've modeled it as such.
However, when I use glht to look for differences between groups, I get
significant

ANOVA testing over nested MS term
I'm still relatively new to R but was wondering if anyone could help me force
R to compute the f-statistic etc using the the nested term rather than the
residual. In my particular case we were nesting a treatment effect by a
replicated tank which was not non-significant enough (p>0.25)to be dropped
from the statistical model.
Here's my code:

R2HTML - align a table from summary.lm
Hi all,
I use the R2HTML package to print results, but I have a little problem when
I want to print a table provides from a summary.lm.
If I want to align this table differently of the others, I use the "align"
argument ("left", "center or "right") of the HTML function , but it prints
"Coefficients left" (or "Coefficients center",

R2HTML giving "NULL" in output
Dear List,
I am using R 2.11.1 and R2HTML 2.1. I am able to write output to an HTML
file but after every line of output I get a line saying NULL. R2HTML seems
to be including <p class='character'>NULL</p> after each entry.
Here is an example of my R code and the source of the HTML...

R2HTML package for R 1.6
Hello R communauty,
I have submitted to CRAN the package R2HTML.
The purpose of this package is twice:
- provide base HTML exportation functions. Basically, you will use them
exactly as a print function (or a cat(...file=)). Thus, making dynamic HTML
reports is possible.
- making live HTML output with frames and command, which is very usefull
for teaching purpose, as the student can keep a

Has anyone used R2HTML in web files that were on the Blackboard LMS, please?
I'm starting to do these but wanted to know if there were any
potential pitfalls.
Thanks,

a clipboard problem while using R2HTML
I followed the examples of previous posts about R2HTML to practice
exporting a data to a clipboard, but the result is not as smooth as I
had expected:

data(iris)
HTML(iris, file("clipboard","w"), append=FALSE)
I got an error message:
