Cohen-Daubechies-Fauraue (CDF) 9/7 wavelet-transform
Hello,
I have to make use of the Cohen-Daubechies-Fauraue (CDF) 9/7
wavelet-transform, but have not found these biorthogonal wavlet in the
released packages waveslim, wavethresh or wavelets.
Is there any package doing this transform?
Or can anybody send me the function doing this? I would be very grateful
of that.
Thanks

I wrote a GUI front-end for syslinux windows version
Hi all,
I developed a GUI front-end for syslinux on Windows for easy making of live usb.
It's released under GNU GPL.
http://people.linux.org.tw/~pcman/SysLinuxSetup.zip
Putting this with syslinux.exe and syslinux.com can make the installation safer.
The program only lists removable device to the users with their icons.
If there isn't, the program will prompt the user to insert usb disk.

I wrote an Upgrade to Rails 4 ebook
Hello all!
I just published a leanpub book on how to upgrade your Rails 3 application
to Rails 4. It covers all new features introduced in Rails 4 and contains
the deprecated features as well. You can follow along with an included
upgrade checklist to see if you upgraded all breaking changes from Rails 3
to Rails 4.
You can get it over here: http://www.leanpub.com/upgradetorails4. Feedback

How can I know if I wrote the configuration like correctly
Hi list;
While I am writing my configuration on the .conf
files, I would like to know if I wrote the command in
write syntax (form), there is not any way to check if
I am writing correct or not (other than checking my
documentation)?
Also, is there any method for searching on specific
topic about asterisk (a command details and usage),
from my computer (like help and so on)?
Regards
Bilal

Wrote Yum Plugin - got a question about arguments
Hello Guys
I have written a small yum plugin. My question: How can I convert the
arguments to a string to output them inside a hook.
I can use many programming languages, but unfortunately no python to
understand the documentation properly.

I wrote CheckPassword Shell example for Dovecot
Hello,
Seeing as there are not too many Dovecot CheckPassword driver usage
examples on the Internet, I wrote one using Shell script.
You can see post about it here:
http://devblog.plesk.com/2013/11/shell-checkpassword-authentication-in-dovecot/.
The post also has a link to Mercurial repository with the example.
Feel free to use the example as you see fit. You may even include it into

Problem of a function I wrote
Hello everyone,
I have been working on a code which simply repeatedly appends a number
into a vector and write a file. However, it could not be properly
implemented when I use it. It works when I run it line by line. I
wonder what is the problem and I appreciate anyone who is willing to
help.
The function and the example code is attached. Any advice is appreciated!

Yen

Looking for whoever wrote cdr_mysql
I don't completely understand this.. Lemme try it out..
[default]
exten => 1112223333,1,Macro(happy-did)
[macro-happy-did]
exten => s,1,Goto(${MACRO_EXTEN},1)
exten => _XXXXXXXXXX,1,NoOp(Normal "s" exten stuff here)
So when this is ran it will cut the cdr and the s will show the actual
DID not the s correct? But then the NoOp would be something like:

I wrote a managesieve server for Dovecot
I have written a managesieve server from scratch in Python. I did just enough
work to get it working with avelsieve (the squirrelmail plugin), smartsieve,
and KDE's sieve kioplugin. It supports the entire Internet draft. Since I
didn't have a working sieve server to compare against, I'm not sure if it's
100% compatible with timsieved. Client applications seem to work okay

Wrote new tiff package, would like big-endian tiffs for testing
Over the years I have noted a couple of people interested in an R package that will read tiff files. There were some valid arguments against (e.g. R is not an image editting suite, libtiff does not support all tiff files, etc.). True enough, when I want to work with family photos, I use Gimp. But in my research I use tiffs as data sets in the context of computational biology and molecular

question on cdf compare in R
Dear list,
I was attracted to a comment that the cdf.compare in S+ is not available in R.
I wonder if anyone have more information on this. Thank you.

Bivariate skew normal cdf; very slow
Dear all,
I am calculating the bivariate skew normal cdf in "sn" package using "pmsn" function.
Although it is quite convenient ( thanks to prof. Azzalini) but it seems to be slow.
For example, it takes about 1 minute in calculation of 100k of such cdf values.
I am thinking to write a c++ code for this although not very familiar with it.
Any other idea?
Thanks in advance,
