reshaping a dataset for a network
dear all,
apologizes for bothering with a probably stupid question but I really
don' t know how to proceed.
I have a dataset which look like df
a <- c(1,2,3,4,4,4,5,5)
b <- c(11,7,4,9,8,3,12,4)
df <-cbind(a,b)
I would like to have one which looks like this:
a
1 11
2 7
3 4
4 9 8 3
5 12 4
a are vertex of a network, b the edges. In the data the lenght of a is
about 50000

using cpu cycle counter on smp
Hi there,
I was wondering if it''s possible to use PSCHED_CPU (cpu cycle counter
as clock source for QoS). Normally kernel menuconfig forbids it due
to lack of synchronization of counters on different cpu, but:

Can I reset the cycle helper?
Hi:
I have lines in a table I wish to stripe BUT, every now and then
there is another type of line, a section header line. I''d like to be
able to start the line after a section heading always as one of the
two classes the cycle helper is cycling between. Is it possible? If
so, how?

PS. I realise I could do this with ''odd_or_even'' or the %2 method

New Relic & RightScale - Ruby on Rails Life Cycle Tools
Cloud Computing and Rails are a natural good fit. With tools provided
by New Relic integrated into the RightScale Deployment and Monitoring
platform you have a Best Practice Monitoring system.
I Deploy and Watch servers all day as part of the http://myCloudWatcher.com
service. When I started to build the demo for this next RightScale
Webinar I learned more about my application in the first few

Syslinux 3.82-pre3 out; short bug fix cycle
I'm putting Syslinux 3.82 on a short bug fix cycle. As a result, it
will be based on the former for-3.81 branch (now renamed syslinux-3.8x)
instead of the master branch.
Fixed so far:
Changes in 3.82:
* isohybrid: fix the -partok logic for loading from a partition.
* ISOLINUX: deal with systems which return from INT 13h with
interrupts disabled.
* Do not

Is there a Regression Test cycle exist?
Maybe unit test is too difficult to add to existing code.
I think the following classical cases should be considered integrated into
the whole suite regression test.
1. Test Environments
a) 4 nodes with DHT.
b) A with all performance xlators.
c) B with all feature xlators.
d) 4*2 nodes with DHT and AFR.
e) D with all performance xlators.

[LLVMdev] Working Cycle Check SmallPtrSet Change
Here's an actually working version of the change in the SelectionDAG
cycle checking code to use SmallPtrSet.
Again, apologies for royally screwing this one up.

NeXT Community wake up and smell the test cycle.
If no one replies soon on if this solves NeXTStep's incomplete mmap()
configuration then I will start ignoring all whining about that platform.

Guess I can assume that my OnePower A03-S1001 just doesn't support the shutdown
command. Might this be the case?

If the UPS does shut down, then it will have to do so after a delay and
not immediately on receiving the shutdown command. Does upsc <ups_name>
report anything like
ups.delay.shutdown: 30
ups.delay.start: 40

Thanks Roger,
the full output of upsc ${myups} is at https://pastebin.mozilla.org/8849188 ;
in particular:
ups.delay.shutdown: 30
ups.delay.start: 180
However, the UPS does not shut down, not immediately nor well after the timeout
of the command: upscmd -u admin -p mypass myups shutdown.return 360

None of the command sin the list successfully completes, not even beeper.toggle.
My list:
# upscmd -l myups
Instant commands supported on UPS [myups]:
beeper.toggle - Toggle the UPS beeper
load.off - Turn off the load

Looks like some options can be passed: /etc/init.d/nut-client is a dash script
and when it is started or restarted, it executes:
start-stop-daemon -S -q -p $upsmon_pid -x $upsmon \
-- $UPSMON_OPTIONS >/dev/null

Firefox Tab Cycle Plugin?
Hi folks,
I thought I saw a comment on this list a ways back about a firefox
plugin that would make a browser automatically cycle through the tabs
it had loaded. We'd like to use this to load some monitoring systems
in tabs, and then have the browser cycle through them so we have a
poor-man's status display station.
Does anyone know more specifics about this plugin I think I heard
